wtf its good he likes killing people it makes him more awesome and instead you want to make him be sent to therapy?! seriously though you think a 9 year old playing gta is damaging him? wow and yeah that means hes gonna go out and kill people. i hate people like you

ihatecrysis

Anyways, I've been playing mature games ever since I was a kid and it hasn't affected me negatively. I can't say the same will happen for his nephew. It really depends on the person and his/her circumstances.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts would probably be perfect.

It's all a cartoon open world and you can fly, boat, drive everywhere. You can create your own vehicles too, which would be like, learning and stuff... >.>

This is probably your best bet. Red Faction Guerilla is rated M but the violence isn't too bad and the worst thing he could did is kill the civilians. Just Cause 2 isn't so bad either aside from the ability to kill civilans as well.

[QUOTE="jcopp72"][QUOTE="the_ChEeSe_mAn2"] And there is also lots of blood, violence and some nudity there as well. I don't think that the TC would want his 9 year old nephew exposed to that.the_ChEeSe_mAn2
the nudity is only there if you put in the "midnight show" dlc

Either way is still too violent for a 9 year old.

I just don't get overprotective people like you. Children are going to get violence from everywhere. Stopping them from playeing good games just hinders their taste in gaming, that's all. I was 7 when i first played GTA III, i loved it. I didn't just go around killing people like a maniac (which i now do in GTA 4), i did the missions, becuase the game is GOOD. Seriously, just let him play GTA, you're educating his taste, not doing any harm.

Just man up and say no to the child, he's nine years old, so what if he cries? He'll cry for about 10-20min at the most and his parents will respect you a lot more for not giving in and letting their child play a violent video game just cause he whined.

And like others said, simpsons hit and run.

Just because YOU have a good tolerance of those games doesn't mean that others will perceive the games the same way you do. I just stated my opinion on the fact that the TC doesn't want his nephew to play violent games at such age. If you can't deal with it, then it is your problem.

I've played GTA since i was about 9 and its stupid to think it'll turn him into a violent murderer, just make sure he's disciplined enough to not let it get absorbed into his mind by playing from breakfast till night, the fun thing is he doesnt even care for the violence which should make you feel better about him playing it, if you start seeing him take prostitues down alleys and kill them whilst smiling then you can think about getting him The Simpsons: Hit and Run.
