for me its the ds, i like some games, dq9 and ragnarok and stuff but i bought the ds for rpg and it seems the lame graphics and low range of rpgs alongwith with me not comfortable with touchyness, i thik i should have gotten a psp instead, which i will later.
I'm sort of the opposite. I bought the PSP, but there just aren't as many good games for it is I had hoped. I loved Crisis Core. That was an amazing game. Ratchet and Clank was a lot of fun too. God of War was too glitchy, and nowhere near as good as the home consoles ones. And overall, I'm just not seeing many quality games available for the PSP. The DS has tons of good games. I own8 PSP games and 27 DS games. I'll be getting Birth by Sleep soon though. So hopefully that'll get me to turn my PSP on again and enjoy it.
I regret buying the Xbox 360 so soon before the Xbox 360 S was announced, but I don't regret owning the platform as a whole. Take a look at my signature. I do not regret a single one of those platforms. Because I do research before I buy a system. I only buy a platform when its price is justified by the number of interesting games it has or will have. Someone might look at the signature and think, "This guy doesn't regret buying a PopStation or Hyperscan?" Well, no, Because I paid 3 and 10 dollars for them respectively, each coming with more than two games. The Popstation sucks, but it was worth 3 dollars just for the novelty.
I know ds is no.1 and all but i do not want to discuss that, i have already played a decent amount of games most of them got rejected, ds is for kids, i have dis lite and i would not mind exchanging it for a psp, psp has those ps1 games remaded like star ocean 2, i would definately like to play that one. i bought a ps2 last october will be a year now, this was my new console after genesis, and still have barely finished 5 ps2 games due to lack of time. ps2 is too good and i do not regret it, its the ds for which i paid more then a ps2, cause here in India rates are insane. i think it would be better even if i would have purchased another ps2 as for back up purpose.
My 360, because I found PC shooters and more jrpgs on the playstation side. Since I bought my 360, I've built a gaming pc and gotten a ps2. The ps3 is what I'll aim for if I ever get a console in the future.
My psp havent bought any thing in about 2 years..Crysis core was awesome an so was god of war for it..Tactics was another good game..Other than those 3 the thing has sucked an collected dust in my apt..At least my wii gets some use..Its got some good titles do out this year..
My PSP. I played a couple of games on it. I never really got into it though and ended up selling it and all of my games to give me more money to move overseas with. Wasn't a big loss. I only played my PS3 once as well. But I was busy at the time.
so I only got into consoles with the xbox, and xbox 360.
I don't regret either of them, they had some good console exclusive games.
I probably would have regretted getting a portable game unit like a psp. I'm really not that obsessed with games I need to play them even when i'm out of the house, so it wouldn't have gotten used beyond just being a novelty item
PSP. its the only gaming device i have ever traded in without replacing it with something compatible (i did trade in a GBA SP for a DS). no regrets....it just wasnt the handheld for me. i also regret buying the PS3 and 360 so early. i dont use them that often. i dont regret having them...just that i paid what i did for them. next gen i think i will just go with a PC and a wii2 and then, later in the gen, pick up a PS4 slim and 720s and a load of games for each. really handy for quiet periods in the year.
For me, it would have to be the PlayStation Portable. I originally wanted to purchase a Nintendo DS Lite for Final Fantasy III but every store that I went to did not have any DS Lite's in stock so I just settled for a PlayStation Portable and it just felt too wide and the analog stick was awkward. (makes me miss my GameBoy Color)
Nintendo Wii. I bought it mostly because of Mario and the nostalgia that goes along with it, but I discovered that I don't enjoy motion-sensor gaming and Mario just doesn't have the same appeal for me any more.
Well, I wasn't satisfied with my PsP at first, though as the time flew by better games were released, it became a console I spent most of the time on. At one point I even considered selling it, keeping it though was the best thing I could possibly do. I'm pretty much satisfied with consoles I own, also before I decide to buy a console I'll do research on it first, what kind of games will be released and that sort of things, don't want to get hasty and regret it later.
I guess if anything it would be the PS2. I've kept two games on the system: Jak and Daxter (a sub-averageaverage platformer) and Dragon Quest VIII (one of the best RPGs I have ever played). I probably should have tried the Team Ico games looking back. Perhaps I shall get both games for my PS3
i bought xbox 360 from somekinda dude rly cheap it would be like 100 in usd its not flashed or hacked or whatever , fully functioning with 2 joystics , i got halo 3 , played it for a week or so then it got meh and now its only gathering dust on my shelf , i believe i gave away my joystics to some1 :D i will just stick with my pc , coz console games are way to expensive for my wallet and consoles are just meh in general =/ rly want try ps3 exclusives but not willing to pay so much for outdated hardware just for few games ... i bought ds but i traded it to awsome hp printer wich i rly neeeded at that moment :D
