it's not that i hate playing online...

i play multiplayer online a lot but i still prefer having friends round and playing splitscreen. in my opinion it makes it more enjoyable. but that's just me. what are your thoughts?

I hate split screen... but I do love having friends over and playing a game, so sometimes it is worth dealing with. As of now though, I mostly play games with friends online since most of my childhood friends have moved and that is the only way we can play.

I prefer playing with friends that are in the same room with me, on splitscreen. Playing online will never replace interaction with people right beside you ;) (Not that I hate playing online ;))

I actually prefer splitscreen, I do like playing game with people i know rather than complete strangers.

i dont like he split screen so much. but i remember countless all nighters with friends. they bring the tv's over and their consoles and we all play the night away on the games we recently bought. those were good times.

i prefer online play, i just love it especially with COD4 or GTA4

Online play is certainly more convenient, but I prefer having a few friends around so we can play Timesplitters 2 in 4-player split-screen, eating cheetos and punching each other after cheap kills :)

I prefer paying online with friends, I can't go back to that little 4 player screen on a SDTV, Goldeneye...idk761

I agree with this.

I like having my own screen, but it's more fun if there's others there to play with you. That's why I'm opening a LAN center.

I like playing online because I am anonymous and can scream like a little whore and call everyone noob, and then suck and say that everyone else is hacking, oh yeah and more screaming, lots of screaming, and possibly some squeeling.
