Sooo, i've been obsessed with Left 4 Dead ad have 40 of the 50 achievments down packed and heard a few rumors of an expansion soon to come out. Anyone have any news or links on that?

A content update, should be released Jan-Feb for both PC and 360.

Yes, I believe its more like a free content update rather than an expansion.

You mean making Death Toll and Dead Air available for Versus?

Valve has mentioned working on that and "more." No one knows exactly what "more" means though.

Supposedly they where thinking of making a Mall lvl like in Dawn of the dead last I heard.

Expect the content to arrive free for PC, and after huge delays if ever to 360. Valve proved with TF2 that they couldn't give a *cough* about either console version - 14 months of talking about an update and failing repeatedly to deliver it. L4D, while fun, suffers from the same problems TF2 did - a lack of maps. 4 campaigns, of which only 2 are available in versus mode is nowhere near the amount of content needed to keep a FPS alive amongst the console community. Valve's total lack of support for consoles in the past means that I wouldn't consider L4D on 360 because it would just follow the fate of TF2, ending up with a small community, full of glitchers, server hackers, and people waiting on the hopes that one day Valve might decide to update it.

I wouldn't put the blame with Valve, they never wanted to release content onto Live because Microsoft were forcing them to charge money to download the content. That's why this time they aren't putting it on marketplace but just like a standard update.

Nope, Valve has announced that 360 and PC content will be "simultaneous" for Left 4 Dead. I'm glad I could clear that up for you.

Not exactly. The crossroads mall is a player created mod that will be released on the pc version.

sadly, i wouldn't be surprised if the two levels were simply the two campaign maps not available yet for versus. oh well. I really really wished this was a new campaign :( . oh well.
