What legacy console games do you have in your wishlist still?

I've been trying to get my hands on PS1 RPGs lately, though some are very expensive :(

Grandia I
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy Origins
The Legend of Dragoon
Valkyrie Profile
Xenogears
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy Tactics

I just picked up Legend of Dragoon and Valkyrie profile, I was surprised to find them both at the same time. They were rather expensive, but obviously worth it.

The only game on that list I don't own is Final Fantasy Tactics...PS1 is a great system for RPG's, maybe even the best

How much did LoD cost? It always is cheap where I see it, but VP was way too expensive for my tastes :?

I remember when I was 8 years old and I wanted to get Spec-Ops (which was a T rated game and was horrible). My mom wouldn't let me get it. She brought over a game: Brave Fencer Musashi which was black label I believe and only$20 (from what I remember). But I was too disappointed in not getting Spec-Ops. And so I did not get any game that day . I regret it now.

Brave Fencer Musashi was a good game and is fairly rare now and costs around $100 or more for a sealed copy.

haha I bought Brave Fencer the day it came out, I was pretty hyped to play the Final Fantasy 8 demo that came with it, and I was a huge Zelda fan at the time and Square was hyping this as their "Zelda killer" which it obviously wasn't...

Odd how this topic comes up now.....I was just surfing around eBay and I just can't fathom how some folks (I'd bet some of you too) can pay the kinds of prices on games....especially RPGs.

I would have thought after FFVII's blockbuster success in 1997-1998, other titles would follow that path, but I guess anything from Konami and Enix (back when they were still seperate form Square) were difficult sellers. Plentiful and easy to find in the day, but now they're ridiculously rare and a bit overpriced .....I daresay overvalued in some cases.

PSX was indeed a grand time for RPGs though, I give it that. It merged the best of the 16 bit era with the updated capabilities of the 32/64-bit age without going all 3-d on us, such as with the likes of FF X and onwards.

Anyhoo.....the list:

- Suikoden I and II (I have III, IV and V already)
- Chrono Cross
- Breath of Fire III (I have IV already)
- Star Ocean: Second Story (Already have Till' The End of Time)
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (I know, it's not an RPG, but I'm probably one of the few who really liked CV II: Simons Quest back in my NES playing days....As great as I and III are, I want that sort of feel that II had again)

I'm on the fence with these.....I need more input on them before I decide to search for them:-

- Valkyrie Profile I (I have II already)
- Legend of Dragoon

Sometimes I hate living where I do. Not enough pawn shops or flea markets around me to sniff around for this stuff. eBay's great since i can just punch in the name directly, but its userbase just loves to jack up prices too high for my liking on some of these.

Eheh, sorry for mixing a little rant in with my list. I had to get it off my chest. It's one of my pet-peeves as a long-time gamer / collector of games.
