Fire Emblem, 1080 Snowboarding, WaveRace, Ice Climbers, Punch Out, F-Zero, Pilot WIngs, Star Fox and Captain Rainbow. It's wierd, because I am not a Nintendo fanboy; I just happen to like their game designs. Anyway, any franchises that are "lesser known" that you like or could recommend?
Ys, maybe I'm wrong but I don't see a lot of people talking about them(at least on the west or just this forum), Lunar series too. Oh and those series you just listed are well known...
Fire emblem is apparently quite popular in Japan, its just that for a long running franchise, it didnt hit the west until Path Of Radiance. The Gothic series, X3, Divinity, Penumbra, Shadow Hearts, Klonoa and Grandia come to mind, I find Overlord as appealing as the popular Fable franchise. Im not sure about the popularity of Katamari... but that too.
