Metal gear solid 4, and Final Fantasy 10 on the consoles. On handhelds, i spent my most time on final fantasy tactics. On the PC ive spent alot of time playing Oblivion
Dragon Warrior III. Took me exactly 2 weeks to beat to the date, and I had over 13-14 hours a day of gameplay. Sometimes even a full 24 hours. Excellent game, and amazing for the NES.
The game that ttok me the longest to beat was Super Metroid when I was about 12. It took me about 6 months of play to finish it. I took my time to explore that wonderful world.
Final Fantasy 8. I think I spent around 80 hours in this one. Heh, I don't have time for games this long anymore; if I were to pick one up, it would probably last me a good several months.
FFX, in my first play through I got a lot of the best items and even some stuff with ribbons, needless to say the boss was a disappointing push over :( the Dark Aeons made him look like a normal encounter.
Probably Dragon Warrior/Quest VII. I clocked over 200 hours in that game before beating it...MAILER_DAEMON
Yeah DW VII for me too. I didn't hit 200 hours on it, but it ended up being 150 for me. First disc alone was 85 hours. That game just would not freaking end.
I spent 200-plus hours on Oblivion to complete as much as I could, but the main quest can be beaten much quicker. Off the top of my head I also spent 100-plus on GTA San Andreas, Persona 3, and Final Fantasy XII (ugh, that's one I wish I could take back). I spent over 100 on StarCraft and probably GTA IV and Soul Calibur IV as well once you add in all the multiplayer & crap. I spent over 3,000 hours on WoW, but you can't beat that game of course.
Too many to name but ill try I guess. DragonQuest VIII, GTA: San Andreas, Oblivion, Xenogears, Any Final Fantasy game are over 100 hrs or there abouts. Morrowind was over 300 hrs and ive played through Final Fantasy tactics for about 500 and Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows amn for about 700 counting multiple playthroughs. Theres more, but what do you people want from my poor deteriorating brain?!

I've put 130 hours into one of my oblivion campaigns, 120 hours into another, 60 hours into three, 40 hours into another three, and 20 hours into four.
I'd have to say The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind or possibly Planescape: Torment. I have a neurotic need to read absolutely everything in any game so Torment took me a long while.
Morrowind, it may not hav da best gameplay but it was the deepest and longest lasting game ever and was the 1st that made me love since Calvin And Hobbes (Not Really But Close) U WILL lose urself in dat game
I logged in about 150 hours on oblivion on my 360...i walked everywhere i went to make sure I explored everything. I also tried to complete all the side quests as well.
Hundreds of hours in Diablo 2 creating multiple characters with different/ same spell/ stat trees and finishing the game with all three character classes over and over again.
I've put over a 1000 hours on FFVII. I maxed out everyones stats at 255, everyone has Master spells, and master summons. Let me tell you how agonizing mastering Knights of the Round that many times is. Good thing I can enjoy grinding like that. Plus I did no controller cheats. I can officially say I Have mastered FFVII completely.
Though the most hours I've ever put into a game would be Tekken II. but you can't really "beat" a fighting game
Longest game I've ever beaten, or game I've logged the most hours on? The former is probably Dragon Quest VIII, and the latter either Morrowind or Oblivion.
I think Xenogears was the game that took me the longest to beat the first time around. Only 1 dialogue/message speed. The......text.......appears....................so..............slowwwwww. The slow text probably accounted for most of the game.
