Many new gorgeous Fable II screens...

I found these on Kotaku, and thought I'd pass them along. I am in love with this game's styIe.

Oh man it looks nice.

The first Fable had an interesting style - I liked aspects, from the oversized armor and weapons to the buildings, but much of it was generic PC RPG fare and the characters were remarkably soulless. This seems to have corrected at least some of that.

Fantastic stuff. I absolutely loved Fable's art-styIe - I loved going to the school in Bowerstone South to give away books to the teacher just because the view of the sunlight breaking through the arching windows with the trees outside was so lovely.

Molyneux talks to much. I think he's the one that gives too much expectations to his games that gives others a false hope.

Anyway, the screens look good though. But I'm not to fond of the cartoony look. The backgrounds look too realistic for cartoony looking deformed characters. It seems out of place to me.

can't wait for this one. its looking fantastic. i have pre-lowered my expectations so that i will not be disappointed when the game is missing features. if it ships up to his own hype, i will just be pleasantly surprised.OneWingedAngeI

That's what I'm doing with this game as well, as I should have with Fable 1

I have never been more upset by what I did in a video game than some of the things I did in Fable. I can still hear the strawman's voice. I've never figured out how Molyneux manipulated me so well.

I await the rematch.

I decided to move the Fable II screens here from the jrpg thread, as it just makes much more sense.

I'm ignoring all feature news so that I won't be disappointed.

Those new screens sure look nice.

Either way, I like the realistic backgrounds, but like I said before, I'm not too fond of the cartoony character designs. It kind of looks creepy because they look like deformed realistic characters within a super realistic world. The first one ha stylized look to the backgrounds so the character designs fit great, like WoW. But the real with cartoony...kind of creepy.

Not saying the game will be bad, but the first one wasn't that great either, so this game has a lot to prove.

To each his own, but I thought the first one was great even with all of its flaws and lack of promised features, and many critics seemed to agree with me.

I wonder what the game will be like having all the changes to it such as having the choice to be a male or female, being able to use guns and being able to have families and kids.

what do you guyz think?

No I figured I'd try to help out, since most of you have real jobs, and I'm just sitting around doing nothing on my summer vacation...Anyway, I just wish we had some new gameplay updates, some new hands-on impressions would be nice.

I really like that box-art, but man, do those XBOX green trims kill it. :x

This cover would rock if it was on the PS3 box. Also, if this game comes out for the PC, I'm sure the box would look awesome.

Hopefully it will not over-promise and under-deliver like the last one. And also, hopefully the ending won't be a "yes or no" decision and will rely on the path you choose through the game.foxhound_fox

Yeah I thought it was stupid that you could pay your way to having all of your sins forgiven...But that only worked for Noriega.

As I have said many times before, I really liked the first one. The art style, the interaction, the chicken kicking and much more. The reason why I liked it is because I didn't expect much from it, I just took at face value. I think that is one of the perks of shielding yourself from too much exposure of a game.

Those screen shots look great. I'm not sure where good 'ol Petey is going with this game but again, I will take the same approach and take it at face value when it gets released.

I hope that Fable 2 is better than Fable was because that was overhyped mediocrity; their best game is still Black and White.
