Some players want it, Ono wants it, and it seems to be doable.
Personally I couldn't care less. I used to like the series but after the incoherent mess that was MvC2 I'm really burnt out.
Much rather have Capcom vs SNK 3.

I'd also love to see a Capcom vs. SNK 3 as well, wouldn't mind seeing a Darkstalkers 4 either. I really, really hope that Street Fighter 4 turns out because I imagine that having timely expectations on these other fighting games will hinge a great deal on how SF4 fares.
If EA partnered with Capcom, then this game should be even better.
I want Marvel vs Capcom 3 despite the disappointing MvC2.
I truly enjoyed playing MvC in the PS1.

I'm more of a Capcom vs Snk guy as well but sometimes I like to rip people apart with Magnetos infinite combos!

Id rather have "Capcom vs SNK vs Kof : whatever edition"
Honestly, I don't feel much need for new 2D fighters since mugen.
I mean it aint perfect, but I can get by without craving for more 2D fighting games.

2D fighters for me are now really just a side-hobby in terms of gaming. I'm nowhere near as dedicated when I play them nowadays as I used to be. Back in the prime days of Street Fighter, boy did I work my SNES playing Street Fighter 2 and 3 for hours and hours, same goes for Mortal Kombat. Nowadays, i'm quite fullfilled with Virtua Fighter. I've recently gotten into the King of Fighters series and I do play King of Fighters of XI, but right now its on a "pick up and play for a bit" basis. I'm not nearly as dedicated to skill development with it as I am Virtua Fighter.
