Metal Gear Solid 3 3DS why get it if I have the PS2 one.?

what do I get in the 3DS MGS3 Remake (or is it even a remake.?) will it even have the old Metal Gear/Metal Gear 2:Soild Snake Games besides it being HD and 3D what's new.?

There might not be a reason to get it, if you've indeed played and finished the PS2 version. I do know the visuals will be updated slightly and there will be improved Camera controls. The biggest draw is playing, what many consider to be the best game in the series, in 3D. I know I'll be picking it up, as long as it isn't a batch-job of the game, since I never finished it on PS2.

This verson does have more to it than just improved controlls and better graphics (though I dont really know what these are besides one). One of those things is that you can take a picture with the 3DS cameras and that will become Snake's camo.

Try playing the PS2 version. It's impossible to control. Greg Kasavin got a lot of s*** for giving it a 8.7 based on the controls back then, and well it's a pain to play it now even with the Subsistence camera. If they can incorporate MGS4 or Peace Walker controls in there, it would easily be worth the price.

The 3D effect is the selling point in this Metal gear Solid game. But since the 3D effect does not work on me. I'm one of the 25% that cannot view 3D effects.

So I'll pass on this. The point is the Nintendo didn't get Metal Gear Solid 2 so they get the3D version.

I suppose, theoretically, a person would be interested in it being portable and better graphics. Otherwise there is no point. Me personally, I have Metal gear Solid HD collection so I'm playing it on there.

Well the biggest change id say is that it includes crouch walking that wasnt present in the original version but in the later games such as 4 and PW. It will definitely make getting around quietly much easier since crawling was the most you could do. Theres also the create your own camo feature and a possible snake vs yoshi that was kinda hinted at in one of the trailers which may lead to a game somewhat like the one in subsistence with the ape escape monkeys. There may be more but we dont know too much more right now other than that it will still be the same game along with those changes.

More importantly, why get it when an HD collection including Metal Gear 2, 3 and Peace Walker is out on PS3 and XBOX for the same price?Black_Knight_00

Question: how do you control the camera on 3DS with just one analog stick?
