MGS4 WILL go multi-platform!

If this is to be, as Kojima says tha last in the series, and considering that they come out on other formats eventually, and considering that Metla Gear started life ona Nintendo console, i reckon that the game will be released on Xbox 360 simultaneously with PS3, with another Metal Gear (With a similar story and ending) being released on Wii.

Its inevitable. Konami would make far more money by releasing it across all platforms.

And then...hopefully Xbox 360 will get downloadable content!!!

What would you say to the fact MGS4 is on a 50 gig disk.

The fact Kojima doesn't want to port it.

The fact it is designed with the Ps3 in mind taking advantage of all its pros.

This game is way too big for the Wii and even the 360. He's spent the last few years on it and I doubt he will want to cintinue after it is over to add a new chapter or whatnot for the Wii. He has said several times he does not want to port it to 360. Also the exact quote was "We may have to take some steps".

Just how much did your eyes light up when you read that? It isn't confirmed by Kojima nor even by Konami. The fact is that Kojima doesn't want it ported but is getting pressure to do so if PS3 sales don't sharpen up. One thing I've noticed though is that Kojima is a powerful mind in the gaming industry and has a BIG influenece on the company and usually people listen to him.

I don't even care if it goes multiplat in the end but I'm just tired of everyone arguing over it...

Kind of like all the "MGS4 is exclusive" threads. I saw about 4 mil of those yesterday alone.

Metal Gear started on a Nintendo system, Metal Gear Solid didn't, it started on the PS1. and i think it will stay exclusive, it seems like now Sony is really geting it's act together

And no one else has either. This topic has been put to rest at least for the coming year. If it was going on the 360 it would have been announced at this E3. Until we get more concrete evidence, topics like these are pointless especially when people insist on not listening to what has been said.

Simultaneously? No way. Games been in development for a looong time now, you really think they would be able to do a perfect port to the 360? No, unless they'd have to sacrifice manpower, and no one wants that.

Can we all just agree MGS4 WILL BE exclusive for SOMETIME on the PS3. We all know it will eventually go somewhere else.
