This system doesn't get nearly enough love. It was the powerhouse of consoles last-generation. It had the best version multiplatform games in most cases. It had XBox Live when Gamecube and PS2 were struggling with the online thing. And the hard-drive was great for having tons of room for game saves rather than managing miniscule memory cards, and it was great for in-game personal soundtracks.
But more importantly is the library. I hear it talked about around here like it had the library of the Jaguar or 32X or something. It has a huge a library of great exclusives and the best multiplatform versions of games. And it has a great selection of action-RPGs, which is great for me personally. My favorite genre:
