So I've been playing NBA2K11 almost everyday now for the last year and half and I believe that I've probably put in about 300+ hours in the game over that period of time. So my question to you guys is what's the longest or most time you have put into one single game.
Most recently it would've Twilight Princess. Put 80+ hours into it. A game has to be stellar in order to suck me in like that. It has probably been 10 to 15 years since I invested so much time into a single player game.
All I know it's gotta be WoW but I have no idea how much time in total but it has to be ****loads of time. Crap friggin' messed up disgustingly filth load of time.
Not being 100% sure due to a bad memory, I can say that in recent memory...
I must have played at least 300-400 hours of Dark Souls by now. I have the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 version, and I will buy the PC version this month. I have completed the game at least 7 times, but mostly enjoy trying new combinations and often only make it about half-way through the game.
I can't give any ballpark figure for the games I played the most as I have not tracked them back then before things like Steam logged hours for you. However, I say X-COM: UFO Defense is my number 1 with hours played. I played the hell out of that game in the 90's. My next most played would be Neverwinter Nights. The power the community had in adding in custom content lengthened the life of that game by a wide margin. Other than that, the most hours Steam has logged for me is Guild Wars.
Most playthroughs...... Dead Space 2 (nine) Most hours logged.......San Andrea (Not doing missions, just having fun with mates mostly, many many evenings.)
I've easily spent several hundred, if not a few thousand hours playing Diablo II. Nothing else comes close, unless I count entire franchises, like all the Final Fantasy games, or the Twisted Metal series, or all the Dynasty Warriors (which are kinda all the same game anyway).

Well, judging from my Steam account, it'd be Arkham City with a whopping 98 hours. Part of that is due a save file being erased for no reason. I aim to get 100% completion in the Arkham games so I had to replay the campaign again on top of finishing the side quests that I missed my first time around. To add to that, I really had fun with the free-flow challenge rooms so I replayed them frequently.
Yeah now I'm curious >:( Spill it! Name the game! .. For me WoW with 1000++ hours. Then games like Oblivion GOTY, Skyrim, Fallout 3 GOTY, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls Okami, Pokemon, Silkroad Online (...) all with 50-150 hours or more playtime.
