I'd definitely agree with Blast Corps and Mischief Makers on N64, along with Extreme G which I always liked for its style and feel which was a lot more different to Wipeout than people make out, also Mystical Ninja was very good. On PS1 I always really, really liked Silent Bomber

On another note I think that Yoshi's Story and Castlevania 64 are pretty underappreciated, not because they are amazing games but because they're pretty good games that get a lot of flack due to not living up to expectations.

There are a lot of Playstation games that Gamespot have been to harsh when they've given the final grades. Examples:

Fighting Force 1

C-12 Final Resistance

Syphon Filter 2

Sheep, Dog 'N Wolf (Sheep Raider in North America)

World's Scariest Police Chases

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos

and the original Crash Bandicoot

[QUOTE="DeafNYCPlayer"]Die Hard Arcade for Saturn Ghost in the Shell for PlaystationDCUltrapro

GOOOOD shout!! Ghost in the Shell was soo wicked, I used to love climbing on the buildings and flying around in that little red rig thing, how awesome was that game!!!

Panzer Dragoon Saga is my fave RPG still, today, I completed it about 3 times over my life from its release and it is more amazing everytime. My only gripe is that Saturn games look awful on my LG 1080p 22" monitor/tv, the resolution is too high!! I need to dig out an old CRT tv to play them on again lol

Pro

Get yourself an S-Video cable for your Saturn and all is well. Got mine a while back and Guardian Heroes looks great on my 32" Plasma.

King's Field1 & especially #2. They're fully 3D. 1st-person perspecitve, action-RPG games. It's open-ended gameplay and real-time action, no boring turn-based fighting here. Tons of magic, wespons, armor, enemies, and locations on these games that places a high emphasis on exploring and rewards well. A solid level-up system for your physical character, level-up system for your spells, and on the 2nd game your weapons even level up as you use them. They're 2 of my all-time favorite games.

i would have to say, one game I felt was underappreciated was bust a groove on the PS1... myself being among the guilty ones, too. I didn't really try it out until I gave it a rental.. and since then I'd been regretting not having bought when I had the chance since. Now you can't even see a picture of one for less than $70 on eBay, which is **** ridiculous.

I would say the whole saturn is under rated but it had grandia, die hard arcade, and the panzer dragoon series. The PSone had Mega Man Legends that was amazing(along with the mega man side scroller series)that is totally neglected by capcom(along with the mega man side scrollers(9 and 10 don't count, they are not full games), I know people mentioned wild arms and I gotta agree with that, and I think the N64 as a whole is over appreciated.

Spider: The Video Game for the PS1. I thought it was really fun and a great idea for a game. You play a mechanical spider in a big, big world. You can shoot enemies with rocket launchers and all sorts of other cool things. Definitely worth checking out.

appletsauce

i always wanted to play that man.........i cant even find it.....period

Rampage 2: Universal Tour. People said it was just the same as Rampage World Tour, but it actually was a lot more enjoyable, and a lot more varied, and it dealt with a lot of problems from Rampage World Tour. For a 2D game, the graphics weren't bad at all.

my pick would be Jet Force Gemini for the N64. It was not a very good seller but he multi player was so great.

I loved that game and bought it recently. Along with another game that is my favorite N64 game. Ogre Battles 64, I almost never see it on anyone else favorite N64 list.

That would be my pick too, along with Operation Winback for N64.

Also one of my favorites, I loved the cover system at the time.
