Y'know, one of those games that wasn't really special or memorable but still had some element of fun (or weirdness), which is why you remember it. Anyone remember Cool Spot for SNES? Haha, most bizzare product placement I've seen. But I remember it being an enjoyable platformer, at least at the time. Here's another one: Glover (N64). It was such a cliche platformer with a just plain dumb storyline (seriously, a glove?). At least it had some originality going for it. I remember having some fun with it at least. I know I just contradicted myself. I said it was cliche and original. Well, that's exactly the case. It doesn't have to make sense, just like the plot of this game.

M.C. Kids. I remember playing that game more than any other game aside from Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES. It's basically one big McDonalds advertisement.

Jersey Devil for ps1... I only had the demo, but I've always wanted to play the full version. Actually, same with the first Tomba game. They were so mysterious and intriguing. I remember getting really really creeped out by Jersey Devil when the little pumpkins would pop up and come running after me with soft footsteps with subtle background noises in the dark.

For me it the Guardian legend for the NES comes to mind. It was actually a great game...hybrid of Zelda and a space shooter (very weird combo indeed, the beginning of the stage you played it like a space shooter, then you explored like legend of zelda). Sadly not many remember it. :(

I don't know how obscure others would rate them, but I always enjoyed the Psychic Force games on the PlayStation.

Ahhh! I loved Cool Spot quite a bit and it was very well animated for its time!

I guess randomly I'll choose my Spike's Peak/Ghost Manor games which were a Xonox Double-Ender game series for the Atari 2600.

There's a long list of NES games I could mention but I'll pick Taboo, the fortune telling game. I remember when I was a little kid I actually wondered if it was real lol Also I loved this game for Atari 2600 -- Fishing Derby. This was a fun 2-player game back in the day.

Funny you should bring this game up, I just got it in a NES bundle from Craigslist. The on-foot parts are a little confusing as to where you should go at first, but it's a great game indeed.

I remember it too. The only real issue I had with it was it was one of those long incomprehensible password for a save games.

I played Psychic Force 2012 for the DC, not sure if it's similar to the PS ones.
I liked that it was unique for a fighting game, you fought in a cube but you could move almost anywhere.
I remember it was how my friend and I were saying a DBZ game should be done, but it wasn't until years later that they did almost that on the Tenkaichi ones.

Evil Zone for the PS, it was essentially a game with a bunch of Japanese archetypes thrown in.
The little cinematics that some moves had with them like Setsuna and Danzivar's specials was something I hadn't seen at the time.
The story mode was cool with how they made everyone's look like an actual series with there own title card, previews, and theme.

A game called Lucky Luke for the PS1. I enjoyed it back then, but I was young, not sure if I would enjoy it now.

As I understand it, Psychic Force 2 on the PS was the same as 2012 on the DC. And yeah, I had Evil Zone too :). Great fun, especially playing as Keiya (his mid-range special throw where he hid in the darkness before unleashing a devastating combo on his helpless foe was one of my favourite moves).

Tube slider for gamecube, fun, and innovative but pretty shallow.
