Name the game youv'e spent the most time in your life playing?

I'd have to go with a few that are all really good contenders for that spot. Here is a list of the games, that over the years I have probably spent weeks of my life playing.

Starcraft

Diablo 2

Call of Duty/United Offensive

C&C Red Alert

GTA3

Looks like most of them are PC games. What have you spent the most time ever playing?

Battlefield 1942, Ultima Online, EverQuest, World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike

I got nearly 500 hours in BF42, CS:S and WoW on Xfire. Don't have any statistics from older games.

well there is alot, but i think that these took up most of my time:

call of duty, halo, guitar hero, zelda, mario, runescape (hehe lol, dont even know why anymore)

FFXII: 87 hours

FFX: ~80 hours

Jeanne D'arc: 56 hours

Time Splitters 2/3: ~50 hours

May not seem much, but it's alot to me. :)

Really hard for me but personally I think this is how it would break down from most time I think I spent to the least for the top 5 games.

Halo 1 (storyline beaten so many times) and 2 (thounsands of games logged for every 2 month trials I hooked up to play online)

Homeworld

Super Smash Bros (the first one)

A poured a ton into NHL 98 as a kid...

But the game I've probably put the most time into is Gran Turismo 3... Seriously, countless hours...

Honorable mentions goes to Halo 3, as I've put in around 100 hours into that game...

I forgot DQVIII: ~50 hours.

1: StarCraft- I have played this game since it's release and I still play it today

2: Halo 2- Very fun multiplayer that all of my friends play. I still have it but I have not played recently

3: Final Fantasy X- I have played through this game many times and each run was at least 60 hours

4: Final Fantasy 8- See above

5: Pokemon Red/Blue- Together I believe my files are over 200 hours

Well over 1000 hours, probably nearing 1500.

I would guess it was Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, easily over 2000 hours. I can't believe how many games I have played for more than 500 hours each.

I remember when the sega dreamcast first came out they had NHL 2k being demoed in the store, I saw it and said I must have this, so not wanting to delay the suspense I would say hockey is the game I played the most. anyone one here remember the hockey game from Atari 2600? just thinking about it makes laugh and also see how far gaming has come it is pretty amazing really.

games that i have spent most on:

final fantasy X : i love playing the blitzball

diablo 1 and 2 : stopped doing online because of all the hackers

guitar hero 3: love it online

battle field 1942: me and my dad like playing it but haven't played it in awhile

battle field 2142: not as good as 1942 but i still like it alot

1. World of Warcraft - Have a level 70 and a 52. (don't play anymore though)

2. Super Smash Brothers Melee - Played it so many times with friends.

3. Pokemon - I can't really name only one because I trade my pokemon to the next game as they come out. I do have quite a few level one hundreds without using rare candy cheats.

4. The Sims/Sim City - Hard to stop playing these.

5. Rock Band - Every weekend a few hours since it came out.

FF VII & FF IX (Played both 200+ hours)

SMB 3

and of course Tetris.

As a kid I used to be able to play RPGs many times without becoming board of them. Because of this:

1) Star Ocean Till The End of Time: Approximately 1500 hours (spanning 10 playthroughs each between 50 and 150 hours long, 3 partial playthroughs which I did not finish and 1 playthrough on 4D mode which I currently cannot drive myself to finish. This does not include the times I'd play for roughly 45 minutes and die, only to lose that time from the clock, which happened fairly often). This was my first RPG.

2) Final Fantasy 10: Approximately 400 hours spanning 6 playthroughs.

3) Wild arms 4: Approximately 300 hours in 4 playthroughs.

4) Final Fantasy 8: Approximately 175 hours in 3 playthroughs.

5) Persona 3: so far approximately 200 hours in 2 playthroughs and 1 partial playthrough. Now playing FES. This is the only RPG in the last 3 years or so I've been able to play more than twice.

The Sims and The Sims 2. I just keep coming back for more.

And back then, FFVIII. I just had to keep playing to see what happens next.
