I can get it working with sound but the picture has no color I can't figure where to plug in the chord to TV as it has the red white and yellow chord, but the TV has different colored plugs

if no yellow, try plugging the yellow into the green. some tvs use that as another composite plug. if it still looks gray, try s video. if no s video, get a wii and component cables. if you want your other classics to run, get a better tv like a sony. i was able to play my Nes without lag on my 1080p lcd sony tv. it also made it look better than worse. this was through RF by the way

I don't think green port will work. If the video cable is yellow and the TV doesn't have a yellow port, I can think of two options you have.

1. Find and buy the Gamecube component cable. I think these are hard to find these days. Actually, they were hard to find even when they first came out, but you can probably find one online. Expect to pay a lot though. The original retail price was around $40-$50. With the rarity these days, it's probably higher.

2. Buy a yellow composite to red, green, blue component converter/adaptor. These are probably easier to find, but might be just as expensive.

You mean some tvs dont have the yellow anymore?? my hdtv has too many haha. Sounds like youll have to pay for some GC component cables if you dont already have a Wii. also the post above about NES and rf adapter reminded me about something, why the hell do so many people plug NESs into tvs with rf adapters these days??? who doesnt have a pair of composite cables laying around, I have multiple pairs of these from dvd players/bluray player, etc. Itll look worlds better especially on an hdtv.

Yeah, a lot of newer LCDs/Plasmas are not even coming with the composite inputs anymore. They are either component(red, blue, green), or HDMI. Just buy the HD component cables for the Cube. I picked some up from EB games for only 15.00. Makes a marginal difference in picture quality too.
