Next GTA: Remodel San Andreas or Vice City?

The woman protagonist idea is pretty intriguing. The ideal character I had in mind, though, would fit a supporting character rather than the lead. Unless they can make some of the animations smooth, the type of character I see them writing would just be some hoodrat. The GTA stories are usually about from-rags-to-riches anyhow. As somebody who played as a female in SR2 (great experience overall), that personality bugged the hell out of me. My character was an obnoxious *****. It fit SR2 real well, but GTA seems to have pulled itself above all that.

Also if they have a woman I bet Fox News or some Christian organization will be all over Rockstar for reasons unknown to me. They'll find something.

The 70's is probably the farthest back that GTA will ever go since who is going to want to really drive around in Model T's or super heavy cars all the time lol. I wouldnt really care for the 70's but atleast there were lots of great muscle cars and without cool cars it wouldnt be a GTA game.Kurushio

GTA London had an expansion pack set in the early 60s, so it's possible that Rockstar might revisit that someday. It'd actually be pretty cool if they did that, rather than continuing to remake their more recent cities over and over.
