UI IGN link there :P

IGN Wii: What are you most proud of both gameplay wise and visually in regard to Nitrobike?

James Higgins: Online multi-player is probably the single biggest element from a gameplay standpoint that we're especially proud of. LFP is going to be the first 3rd party (unless someone surprises us) online Wii game and we can't wait to compete online with everyone.

Visually, we're really happy with the overall Arcade look and the intense sense of speed. We're also throwing around lots of particle effects and many of the levels are populated with spectacular collapses of environment elements.

Seems to be the only "game" they're working on for wii and not even from an internal developer.

A hobby, something people do to pass the time.

If this game is fun to play, and online is good we could have a winner. The promise is certainly there.

Don't underestimate the UbiTrash factor. Publishers have more influence over the final game quality than you think.

Have you checked out the trailer? It looks much better as its blazingly fast and smooth with a lot of stuff going on.

Why did they ask about the minigames from ExciteBike 64, but not a track editor? Is it already confirmed or are they just toying with me?

Ah, so it's similar to a pastime then ...

Good question. That was a cool feature in the N64 game.

So this is what Left Field has been up to for the past six years. Looking forward to this with excitement in the body and the mind.

I'm definately looking forward to this one. It could be this years Excite Truck. Wii needs more quality racing games to come out. I wouldn't mind a racing sim as well.

Left Field haven't done much since leaving Nintendo's 2nd-party stables. I believe they made a dirtbike game for PS2 that wasn't so hot.

This one seems cool though, and Excitebike 64 was awesome back in the day. In fact, I'm hoping it gets put on Wii Virtual Console soon. Playing the old N64 games with a Gamecube controller and cleaner graphics with widescreen is just the best. *Shakes fistabout never being able to experience Goldeneye and Perfect Dark that way*

This has to be better thanthat Excite TRUCK game.

The graphics aren't great, but it looks fun, and online is a big help (yay)
