Buuuu .... wha... who changed my thread title? I feel violated!

I love the graphics in the trailer, reminds me of the lighting in HL2 episodes with the subtle lighting and I love the realistic animation. Screw the UE3, Rage is where it's at.

But, heavy heart, why so serious? :( Where is the comedy?

Looking at this reminds me of the first time I saw GTA3, the leap is that significant, the city is brought to life even more now.

It's funny, no matter how sick I get of the GTA formula I always come crawling back with the next iteration, especially this one, it looks fantastic.

WTF you guys, the graphics look horrible compared to like almost every other next gen game ever. What is everyone talking about awesome graphics? o_0GodModeEnabled

What the hell? It looks awesome, the attention to detail is unparalleled, the animations are slick, lighting, textures, draw distance...you name it. The game looks great. You also have to keep in mind the scope of the game, indoor environments, interactivity - and most astonishingly, there are no loading times whatsoever (after the initial load, of course).

Time specific sucks gargantuan man ass. I have to be on time for work everyday, I take my lunch and breaks at a specific time yadda yadda yadda I dont care show me some footage of torching a hooker with a flamethrower and destroying some stuff or something FUN. This is the worst idea for a GTA game ever.GodModeEnabled

Well, if the game doesn't penalize you for ignoring the time specific elements, it could be fun.

Yeah, me too. I love the IDEA of GTA more than I like the actual gameplay. I've bought all GTA games, but I've never completed one of them. Still, each game held for a respectable 15-20 hours at the very least

As a core 360 owner, I somehow doubt that will be true.... for me.

Yep, that's the exploration factor, after about 20 hours you feel as if nothing more will surprise you, then you get a bit bored.

If they improve the story/missions however then it'll get my full attention.

Why would anyone willingly buy a Core? If you are making the jump and spending $200+ why not go all the way and buy a Premium? It makes no sense to me.

At the time it was the difference between $300 and $560. Easy choice for me. :)

Mantorok

I meant why not wait and save up enough money to buy the best version of the console when you already have the money for the Core version.

At the time it was the difference between $300 and $560. Easy choice for me. GG
Ok,I didn't know it cost that much more than the Core. Most retailers over here have priced the Premium down to about $499. And the Core, I haven't checked.

He got his 360 at a special price. That was for being my friend. I called the store and told them: "Hey! GG wants a 360. Give him one cheap!" And voilà.

Lol @ both of gg's responses.

 I love this thread.

Anyway GME how can you say the graphics aren't that great. :( The level of detail is insane. I downloaded the trailer on the PS3, very cool stuff, though I think I noticed some framerate drops with that version, weird.

Oh I know ill love this game, and its likley going to be GOTY and all that but there are better looking games out there is all im saying. I love the explosion and fire effects though.

imma huge GTA fan, so to say that trailer blew me away was an understatment.

rockstar has always been very clever in how they display their new features. did anyone pick up on how he was hangin offa the truck? did you see the elements of the euphoria engine in there? how amazing will that be?

imma haftoo go back and analyze the trailer and then make another post with amore in-depth study
