Mega Drive. Had it since 1992.
Still works fine, although the control pads are a bit knackered. Should get a couple of "new" 6-button pads off eBay really.
my oldest console would be my Master System (original model 1), and I think its one of the older SMS models since it has that maze game built into it (later SMS models had Alex Kidd built into them if I remember correctly)
PS1. After 13 years it works fine still. Floppy_Jimmost of the old PS1's still work , its the original PS1 models , ie the launch ones, that had all sorts of issues with the laser mechanism
I'm not sure which came first exactly but I have an original model NES, and an Atari 2600 Jr. I know the Atari 2600 came first, but I'm not sure about the Jr. model which is the one I have.
I used to have a Commodore 64, which would have been the oldest, but no longer. I recently looked into getting one back into my collection again and my gosh have the prices risen on them. You used to be able to pick a whole bundle of C64 stuff for like $30. Now the C64 unit alone is going for around $100.
C64's seem to be pretty expensive here too sadly. though , Amiga computers are actually pretty cheap here, since it was popular here (moreso then in the US), and I did want to get one at some point, either an Amiga 500 or 1200I'm not sure which came first exactly but I have an original model NES, and an Atari 2600 Jr. I know the Atari 2600 came first, but I'm not sure about the Jr. model which is the one I have.
