I started playing it today (the original PSOne game) and so far is great, cant believe it got 7.2 score here at gamespot. I plan to get PE2 as soon as I beat the first one and if i'm hooked i'll get "The 3rd Birthday" when its released. I will also be playing Vagrant Story these days, Hooray for old RPGs!
Parasite Eve is a really good game, thes sequel is also good, though it's a complete ripoff of Resident Evil and has nothing to do with the prequel in terms of gameplay.

Parasite Eve is alot better the sequel. PE2 played way too much like RE and that ruined it for me. But I do agree Parasite Eve was pretty freaking awesome!

Parasite Eve is alot better the sequel. PE2 played way too much like RE and that ruined it for me. But I do agree Parasite Eve was pretty freaking awesome! Really? how come PE2 is like a survival horror game? I'm guessing the gameplay was changed much for you to say that. Also, I have a question, which parasite eve was the one with that 100 floors building with near imposible to beat bosses?

Well, for one you turn and aim like in RE, though I think the damage assignment is the same as the prequel. One thing it does better than RE is you have melee attacks, which are very useful.
