Hello jamzzee. This is an easy question, so it didn't even take me long to choose these games. GTA 5, DayZ and World of Warcraft. Fallout 3 could be on the list too :D

Monster Hunter 4G- Has great online modes, and a decent story campaign. Just love this game, and anyone who I've recommended this game to hasn't been disappointed. (you may also like/ Dragon's Dogma, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne)

Dragon's Crown- It's a modern day beat em' up done right. Mini games, & the hand painted sprites are a nice touch. (you may also like/ Castle Crashers, Guacamelee)

Little Big Planet 2- It's a clever create sim, even without the online community has plenty of content. The story mode is really good. (you may also like/ MineCraft, TearAway)

*I picked multiplayer games that also have very strong single-player content. I find that's appealing to most people when a game has variety, and accessibility.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Massive world filled with places to explore, great story, great soundtrack. Even though it took me 76 hours to beat, it never once felt like it dragged behind. One of the ultimate JRPGs ever made in most respects.

Knights in the Nightmare: A truly unique game in every sense that combines elements of RPGs, turn based SRPGs, and bullet hell shoot em ups to create a game unlike anything else on the market. The fact that it looks amazing and the story is so great and told well is the cherry on top.

LISA: The Painful: A game that explores the depths that humanity will fall to given the right circumstances. I've yet to see a game that manages to explore human depravity so effectively as LISA does. It's not the out and out brutal, but it makes use of certain subtleties to reveal some really dark truths. That, and its tone, atmosphere and story are simply top notch, unique, and unlike any other game I've ever played. It takes certain inspiration from Earthbound, mostly in the visuals, but it is, without a doubt, its own beast. I challenge anyone to play to the end and not at least get choked up at the conclusion. Its DLC, LISA: The Joyful, is also great.

I would actually go with the 3 games you picked lol. Since it's limited to 3 I avoided picking games that have or are direct sequels like Mass Effect and, to a lesser extent, BioShock. Anyway, that said, pretty easy for me seeing as I consider The Last of Us to be the best game I've played. Fallout 3 is my favorite despite its issues. And then the wildcard goes to GTA V for being an all around excellent game, even if I'm bitter at how much attention went to the Online portion post-launch.
