PS1 games that hold up today......

Well yeah, it definetly looks bad by today's standards. I didn't mean to insinuate otherwise on that point. My point is that it was undoubtedly impressive when it came out.

In my opinion:

FF7, all of the Crash Bandicoots, Xenogears, Legend of Dragoon, and Chrono Trigger

They all still amaze me of how great games they are.

Final Fantasy 7 imo looks pretty bad, but at the time it still looked pretty good...it should make sense. Even though it can be hard sometimes today to look at its still a fun game to playthrough, but compare screenshots of 7 to 9 and you see big differences.

All ps1 Final Fantasies are fun...but yes I do agree that FF7 looks pretty ugly today even compared with its sibling FF ps1 games.

Last-Resort

Do you know what year PS1 came out in? Because it seems to me you're looking back on it from today. It was amazing game then, and most say it still holds up today. And to Last-Resort, PS1 games looked better as it's lifetime progressed because developers got to know the system, so of course FF7 would look ugly compared to like FF9
