Does that blow your mind? I was shopping to for a PS2 Slim to buy before Sony official cuts them off. Of course on Amazon they are $130+ which is a bit crazy so I decided to look at the original was blown away by the price.

Maybe if it's gold plated, it would be worth it.

for that price it better meet this criteria

1. life time unlimited warrante-
2. prestine condition , 24 k gold ,
3. a full library of games
4. and enough memory cards!

You can still get a brand new Playstation 2 9000 series slimline with the pack in game "Toy Story 3" for $99.99

Buying a PS2 phat 3500 series for $700.00 is insane. There are 154 Million PS2 consoles out in the wilderness, so they are not exactly rare. I don't see this selling anytime soon. Besides it would have the famous Disc read issues that launch PS2 faced back in 2000/2001 be Sony recalled and fixed the issue, plus the faulty fire prone power supply. Which Sony did recall and replace.

That's the internet for you. You'll see people trying to sell things for WAY too much sometimes. It's like they don't care if it sells or not. I could understand if it was a limited edition AND mint, but even still that's just selling to RICH collectors.

lol. Im lucky because I bought a ps2 slim just months before they cut them off at Gamestop for pretty cheap. I think I spent $150 for a new ps2, extra remote, a few games, and a memory card that is the size of 4 in one.
