3 & 4- Beyond Good & Evil or Jak & Daxter series

5- Shadow of the Colossus or Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistence

6- Can't think of one for this. Sorry

7 & 8-Burnout:Takedown

Mmmh 6 is difficult, as most action split screen are repetitive and boring

Most games forgot about 2 player (vs or co-op) and go for online.. it's a shame, really

But let's see, Area 51 is a FPS with a nice vs mode (like Quake 2) but nothing out of the usual

Well, obscure is a survival horror game, it is not split screen, but you can play co-op in two playes mode.

Tony Hawk (any of his games, except project 8) are good split screen two player games, even if it's not action game

And last, you can try Fighting games like Dragon ball Tenkaichi Budokai 3, it's split screen, and it has all the action you need xD
