PS2 Slim trouble

The discs won't spin in my old PS2 slimline, like sometimes they do sometimes they won't and sometimes it just stops spinning during a game. Any ideas on how to fix it or what the problem is

That happened to my PS2 once.. except I still had the warranty from the store. Do you still have yours?

If not, try calling Sony's phone hotline or whatever.

I think I will although i don't really need to since its the reason i got a new one but i wanna know how it can be fixed in case it happens again. i wanna know what caused it cause it's never been dropped or had something dropped on it etc...

No prob. My ps2 had a disc read error that was apparently quite common in slim PS2's.
