Games worthy of ytour attention!
RPG:
Kingdom Hearts 1 (Possibly 2 aswell i havent got my mits on that yet!:evil:)
Final Fantasy XII i think it looks promising
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time,Certainly can last a while
Fighting:
Tekken 5 - its fast and polished to the max with a good story,though the new characters i dislike (same with tekken 4)
Soul Calibur II - Dont bother getting 3 i found taht extremely disapointing,this games much better.
Mortal Kombats - If you want real violence :twisted:
Horror:
Silent Hills - These horrors use alot of physcology in there story and gameplay,they really get deep in your head,the enviorments and monsters are dark,eriry,slightly realistic very creepy and very artistic.I reccomend this series to any horor fan who hasnt aready experienced them.
Resident Evil 4 - The game which has fast action and horror mixed it really works well and is a great achievement by capcom.and which all the ps2 exclusive bonuses it has brilliant replay value.
Project Zero - Im playing this one at the moment (well the 2nd) and its pretty good its more of the kind of suspense horror which makes you jump,theres a unique gameplay in this game basically its taking photos of spirits/ghosts, but trustr me ut can get quite scary.
Platform:
Crash Twinsanity - This is the first Crash Bandicoot game on the PS2 i actually like,its fresh and quite funny,and the thought of 2 rivals having to work together is mad.
Jak series - The new platform series to the PS2 its really fun to play though take note,you need to play them in order!,and Jak 1 is more of the platfrom game while 2 and 3 kind of drift intothe more GTA free roam mission.Overall there a great experience.
Rachet and Clank - i havent played much but of what i have played i liked.
Action:
Metal Gear Solid 2/3:Brilliant Games!,the charcters and story are top notch,the game play is fun and unique.you can sneak around in a box!,the controls are just so easy to use which makes gameplay a dream,put that doesnt mean the games all easy,there can be tough moments on difficult settings.If you havent played MGS1 on the ps1 i reccomend that first though because of the story (which is important for the series)
Devil May Cry Series - This is another great action game,its fast and quite drak,kind of gothic theme to thew game which works so well,this game is great eye candy,though dont start with 2 because its weird.......,but 1 or 3 thats good,though 3 is known for great difficulty beware!.
Grand Theft Auto Series: Personally think think the GTA is the best improvemnt from ps1 to ps2,Its basically a free roaming crime action game,you can do parcatically anything you can think of to cause havoc on the streets,also the storys are pretty interesting and each games theme works well,personaly i like vice city the best,it has a great 80's style to it.and teh characters are great.recomend it,though san andreas has alot more advanced things do to
First Person Shooters:
Timespliters:Futer perfect (3) - This gane is Great the story is shotrt but interesting the gameplay is fast and intense and with friends its very competative,and the creatve a level mode is quite advanced,more of a comical shooter than serious but really good.
Medal Of Hounor:Frontline - This is the perfect war game,im not much into world war but this game is just fun! i reccomend it
Area 51 - This is a kind of creepy FPS though its no Doom,still good
Racing:
Burnout Revenge: Its fast and polishedto perfection,lasts a long while and with friends it can get really intense
Gran Turismo 4: Personaly i dislike this game,i find it boring but if your really into racing and serious about official cars this is for you.
