PS4 outselling X1 3-1?

Guys I just figured out why I have not seen stocked retail shelves of the Xbox One in my area! Its because of Redskins QB, Robert Griffin III or RG3.

I have never owned a Playstation or an Xbox. I'm debating between the Ps3 and Ps4.

Ps3 has the bigger and arguably better library right now and it will last you til' 2016. While the PS4 is lacking games, has an expensive game library with no backwards compatibility. But in the next couple of years, we'll see true next gen. And it will be much better than the Ps3 (with some backwards compatibility maybe).

ps3 is so cheap now... you get a free controller and usually a free game with it when you buy it... they are almost giving them away at this point so you should get a ps3 without a doubt... and get a ps4 in a year or two when lots more games are out for it.

your right theres a ton of games on the ps3 already to keep you busy for months or even years... i still have a few ps3 games i own but havent even played them yet (god of war 3)

You must have known the old Alex. I didn't know that guy but some said kind things about him. The Alex that popped up around the time of the Xbone unveiling was stone crazy. I dealt with a few worse Nintendo fans in the GC era, but not by much. It was amazing how he defended the genius of every policy MS eventually 180ed on.

Gamers (if not gaming) can survive just fine without any videogame company, the reverse isn't true.

Given how RG3 played this season he probably should be saving his money (he's not the guy he was when he started out, but he might never be that guy again since he is the sort who ignores injuries rather than letting them heal).

It's the Redskins. It's Daniel Snyder. It was going to turn out bad no matter what. Might as well enjoy the ride.

He is not going to be that dynamic player he was his first year. I am worried that the stardom has taken his focus away and the franchise is placing too much of the leadership role on him to early in his career.

As I said before you have been and are wrong when it comes to your predictions of the Xbox One. You said that no one wanted the tertiary bull shit, and that it MS had ruined the brand. You gave the Xbox One no shot in doing well at launch or after. You essentially wrote the console off.

Now the Xbox One per the last numbers release has sold 2 million units, compared to 2.1 million for the PS4. Never in your wildest imagination did you think this would even happen. You were wrong in your early predictions of the console.

And now you are trying to define what success is for the Xbox One in North America. Using your sniff test, than the PS3 must have been a huge flop considering how well its predecessor sold. In reality the PS3 was not a flop but still a very successful console.

You continue to paint these broad brush strokes compared to what is actually happening. To try and compare the WiiU launch to the Xbox One is just plain silly. But hey, at this point you have to grasp at straws here considering how off the mark you ve been. Here is some food for thought. ...

I saw three X1s at my local walmart. There were quite a few people in that area but no one bothered to buy it. Very odd. I thought this thing was sold out?

My friend bought an X1 a week after launch at GS, I was surprised since he didn't preorder and its been very easy to find X1's available online and in stores for the last few weeks. On the other hand the PS4 is hard to find. The $500 is a major roadblock , look no further than the successor to the most succesful console (PS3) . I won't be surprise if there's a $100 price drop on the X1 by holiday 2014

I think it depends on location. I was Christmas shopping last week and they were available at Target, Wal Mart, Best Buy, and Gamestop. Very easy to find in my area.

I'm curious about the sales outcome this month. Ps4 was outselling X1, but X1's allocation this past holiday week or two was unbelievably good, and Ps4's were not.

hmm , xbox one is selling pretty good ... specially after all of those DRM staff , and its 100$ more expensive than ps4 , but it is selling good

I don’t know if anyone stated this. But we all know that PS4 is selling in 48 countries whilst the XBOX ONE sells in 13 countries.

And also because of PS4 selling in all these countries, there was that article about the production of the console a week ago. I can’t remember. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m getting both. But I hate all this bias.

They are both good. If one sells 1 million more than the other one, this does not mean the one is crap and the other one is Godly.

There are so many things that could happen to both consoles’ sales.

Let’s just hope they both do well.
