New Super Mario Bros on the DS. My gosh I had to use a guide to find the warp guides (to level 8) by the end of it otherwise I'd tear the game cart in half from frustration. Such a difficult game.
I cannot control my rage when playing any Prince of Persia game, simply because I end up falling to my death repeatedly. I can't stand that for longer than 5 minutes, so I give up before my TV gains a controler shaped hole =) Star Ocean The Last Hope also makes my rage boil up instantly due to the voice acting and lack of control the game would actually like to give me.
The last game that made me rage was Skate 2 and that was about an hour ago, ended up repeatedly punching the damn controller.
Alot of games make me rage though, some games are naturally rage inducing like Skate, Street Fighter etc, but i usually find that once I'm in that mood, every game will make me rage.
Any Mario Kart game.
"Are you serious? Three freakin' blue shells in a row!?! Come on!"
The worst though is when you are in first place on the last lap laying into one of those multiple turbo mushrooms with the finish line in sight and one of the other racers passes you by at the last second. WHAT IS THAT!
Ugggggh...Mario Kart.
My my rage inducing game is an odd one, NBA 2K10. It really gets me riled up, riled up enough that i plain lay into the arms of my chair and scream swear words until i'm blue in the face. And yet i still persist in playing it, guess that shows how stubborn i am! Haha
MW2( Some parts SP just made me wanna hit my brother),Transformers WFCW(Trying fighting Trypticon on hard!),Demon Soul(For obvious reasons)
Tales of Phantasia - OH GOD DAMN FLYING ENEMIES WHY CAN'T I JUST HIT YOU FROM HERE GOD DAMMIT NO DON'T STAND IN FRONT OF ME YOU STUPID HEALER AHHHHHHHHHHH (Edit: I've JUST run into another frustrating thing.. THANKS FOR TELLING ME I HAD TO GET ELEMENTALS BEFORE VISITING MORIA GALLERY! Damn...IndexticCome now, that game wasn't that bad :D.
i think the worst for me was marble madness on the nes.osan0Haha, yes, I remember yelling at those darn Marbles too :D. Battletoads anyone? Ikari Warriors? Sagaia?
Blur. Good game, but there's always something that manages to screw up an entire race. Repeatedly. or achieve one of the objectives that only count if you finish 3rd or above...and finish 4th. Or those damn time stages...
Naturally, I wouldn't back down, so things would just get worse. Blue shells have nothing on what hoops that game makes you jump through.
Demon's Souls: Not so much for it's difficulty, but for being invaded for the 8th freaking time in a row when all I want to do is complete the damn level.
Super Street Fighter IV: Fun 90% of the time. The other 10%? Ever have a seriously bad losing streak? I've wanted to bang my head off my desk repeatedly to ease the sense of frustration.
Either.I'm surprised to see so many say Mirrors Edge, I didn't seem to have a problem with that game.
agpickle
In MW2 when you have just done the estate mission where you hold up in the house, then you have to run out down the field where the mortars start a barrage, I ran ahead of Ghost too quickly and started the mortar barrage and it was physically impossible for me to complete the level. I didn't know it at the time so I spent about an hour trying to do it and got intensely angry.
Megaman Battle Network 4.
Playing the same damn thing three times to unlock the good stuff while fighting off common enemies with boss-level attacks-torture to the mind and soul. Not to mention there was no way to prevent random encounters of enemies!
Unlike Pokemon's repel, which worked on all wild Pokemon except legendaries, MMBN4's evasion item had NO effect once you hit your third playthrough. (had to use Pokemon because it was the first thing that came to my mind)
