Wow $35!!?? look around a bit more you can get them for $10 and yes get them the game looks much sharper and you need as much as you can get considering it's the PS2 version
Even if you have a regular flat-screen tube, componement will help tremendously with picture quality.For some reason, I found that it didnt change a lot when used on a non-flat screen tube tv. Well, thats how it is in my house.
I agree with everyone, worth it, hands down. I have 2 HDTVs and 1 SDTV that all use component, it's a no brainer to use them if your TV supports them. RE4 looks great for a last gen game in component (especially 480p, it competes with most Wii games)
They're $15 at Gamestop and they're definitely worth it.

Apparently these are in stock right down the street from me...guess i'll have to look harder. Thanks for the link. BTW i'm going to be playing the ps2 on a 32" 720p/1080i LCD.
