Resident Evil 6, what we want to see.

What would you like to see in RE6? Myself, I want my classic zombies back, And i also would like some puzzles in the next game, they took a survival horror/strategy puzzleseries and turned it into a pure action game... They need to keep the multiplayer because that was bad ass,and more weapons.

Smarterenemy & PARTNERAI(if we have to have a partner) I understand that Sheva was there for the most part, for co-op play, but i like to go though the game alone first...and man she was dumb.

I would like to see a survival horror.

Games like that dont sell that well these days, i can only hope they go back to the games roots but i highly doubt that.

I would like to see, slower shooting, obviously less ammo (forcing the player to be carfule with his shots) and more of an emphasis on running than fighting. That would make it perfect in my mind :)

Bring back zombies. Bring back horror. I dont care whether it controls like 4/5 or like the originals. It needs to really focus on atmosphere, on the scares. Resident Evil 5 was not intelligent at all. It was a stupid action game. The old games (and even 4, to an extent) were hardddd games. The puzzles, the limited ammo. You had to play smart to win.

RE5 was a good game. But they chopped the top off of it to sell more copies. RE needs to get smart again, I think thats the key. Not controls or other BS.

Ideally, I would like them to keep the current style of combat, improve upon it but not so much that it turns into something completely different. Throw in some puzzles, use a more creepy setting and ditch co-op.

They werent hard, they werent full of puzzles and they didnt have limited ammo, except for the first one.

Theres maybe, 2 things in RE2 that could even be considered a puzzle, and there both easy, RE3 has more but again there pretty easy, the closest thin to puzzles they have is go to spot x for key y.

Also, theres a heavy emphasis on shooting, and ammo wasnt really that scarce, in RE3 i had 100 shotgun shells, in addition to my other weapons and gun poswder.

Really, when was the last time anyone even played the old ones?

Have it focus on the Survival even if they must give up on horror.

Also, make it more like the older point and click adventure games.

All i want is:

1. Partner
2. ability to turn off the partner
3. scarier like re4

1.No coop crap that kill the solo singleplayer experiance, story and moments.

2.The previous inventory system. 3.aiming and shooting while walking, come on, thats last gen stuff damn it!!

4.survival horror gameplay and by that i mean 2 things, no 100000 zombies with dynamites or chainsaws or rocket launchers or miniguns despite having enough ammo to take them like re5 or not having enough ammo like re4. Enough with this action crap. Make zombies be zombies and the characters having to work his way to survive, throwing a million enemies with guns is not survival horror despite having or not having ammo. It feels like trials of difficulity challenge rather a horror game.

5.HORROR!!! I cant stretch this enough, make it like the old games that had HORROR and not crazy armed zombies running around and trying to cut you with farming tools and throw dynamites at you and set traps in the ground. You might as well bring predators missiles from mw2 if that is what you consider "horror"

6.Make it like the old games, which means a city with zombies roamming around and less shooting and necessary killing/fighting.

Get to play as super-human Wesker, with force powers, and powers from bioshock and infamous. Set it in New York like crackdown and have Wesker say one liners like Duke Nukem. Best Game Ever! :P

i agree with the survival horror, but i liked the partner, not on one player, but my cousin and i musve beaten it like 50 times

I always liked RE5 for its Co-Op play. I would definitely tune the shooting, maybe try and make the controls more accessible. Other than that, I really liked RE5.

1.) Bring back the zombies. Enough of this Las Plagas crap.

2.) Bring back the puzzles. Hiding a key in a box is not a puzzle.

3.) Solo play. NO MORE PARTNERS!

4.) Leon and Rebecca are due to have another starring role. Jill and Chris are played out.

Typewriter ribbons! Crappy camera angles in claustrophobic hallways! Doors that open at a painfully slow pace!

Zombies that are more freaky and scary etc.

well, I would like to see Resident Evil return to it's creepy roots. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Resident Evil series the way it is, but I would also love to see it return to it's creepy and dark atmosphere.

I would like to see a more horror approach to the gameplay. RE5 was amazing but offered no real scares.

What I would like to see? Well, for starters, the intense and creepy atmosphere the earlier titles had, intriguing puzzles, nothing extreme just well thought, and last but not least, to feel powerless, probably the main element of survival horror genre.

Oh, I almost forgot, more content, and by that I mean to be able to find various documents, scripts, notes that will give more depth to the story and particular events going through the franchise.
