Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 being planned

Just thought id mention that Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 has been officially stated as "On the table" by Atari the admin posted a thread on what you would want and said they are really thinking about the next installment.

Thank god they got their legal issues out of the way for the game for it to continue.

Eh, the last time I enjoyed Rollercoaster Tycoon was when I was 12 and was into PC gaming for a short period of time.

Chris sawyer did not have input on the 3rd he was against 3D but Atari had the rights to do it.

This is probably the best gaming news I've heard all year. Yeah, RCT3 was a step backwards in the series, but I still love all the games and have been anxiously awaiting another sequel.

I'd buy it. But after reading reviews saying if the controls and gameplay are alright. I like some of the ideas presented in the article you linked to, TC. My favorite was the one where someone suggested that there be recognizable items from other theme parks like Disney, Six Flags, etc.

No Sawyer is a bummer it's true. I'm currently going back through to try and finish every single scenario, as I've never actually taken the time to do so. RCT2 was tops, no question. I spent hours on the first one in college. It was like having an IV of RCT. Perhaps it's time to tell my mother why I got the C- in Biology? Nah.
