I think that at least in Pokemon's opinion, you can be rewarded not only by the levels you gain, but also by a 1:100000000 chance to get a shiny. :lol:

you gotta be in the right mood to grind.

probably woudlnt sit in your room grinding for an hour if you just sat a 3hour exam or something. you have to prepare for that kinda mental slavery.

It depends on the game, if grinding means doing a bunch of sidequests then I'm all for it, if it means running around the same grassy square, then no (unless its pokemon).

I don't like grinding if it's not related to side questing. Grinding just for the sake of it, running around in the same area just to gain exp gets boring quickly, and I don't like very much when games "require" grinding like this to advance. If the game starts to get hard, there should be sidequests that will give you exp and levels to allow you to continue through the main story.
