i personally prefer the saturn
i think they have better games
but thats my opinion
Ernice
i agree 100%. the saturn is great.
Saturn defintely has more rarer games. Just Panzer Dragoon, Princess Crown, and Radiant Silvergun aloneprobably goes more on ebay than all the Dreamcast library put together. I'msure there are more rare ones, but those three come to mind.
But personally, since I never had a Saturn, I'll go with the good ol` DC. I still play mine once in awhile. I have so many good fighters on it that I just can never get rid of them.
I had a saturn and really dint rate it, the DC on the other hand blew me away from the first time i turned it on. If u connected it to the tv via RGB scart the clarity of the colours was simply amazing and the textures too were leaps ahead of anythin else, even the pc at the time.
I still play on it to this day, Sonic, Crazy Taxi are just 2 of the many gems that keep me happy.
I'm going to have to say the Dreamcast ... but I'm biased ... I loved that system way ahead of it's time and could have been one of the greats!!Anabub
I agree. The DC was a fallen star. SHOULD have saved Segas console dreams. At the time it had exclusive Marvel vs Capcom 2, on of the best fighting games ever. Its light gun combined with the House of the Dead series made perfect arcade translation. Good times.
I usually suggest people get neither. The best games on the Saturn are wickedly expensive, and the best games on the Dreamcast got ported to Gamecube and PS2.
If you're going to pick one, maybe go for the Saturn. With about 4 or 5 exceptions the best games on the Dreamcast are available on the Cube or PS2 like I said. Most of the Saturn games are exclusives so if you can't play them there, you're just going to miss out. You will have to part with some serious cash to get games like Dragon Force, but NiGHTS into Dreams is dirt cheap and a fantastic game AND dirt cheap, so it'll even out for you.
