Should 'Deadly Premonition' be re made ?

I really want to play this game, but keep hearing about the bad controls ect..

Do you think this title will be re vamped ?

Even thought it's got it's problems, I must confess after watching all the reviews on 'You Tube' it still looks extremely interesting.

A remake would be disastrous, that game is Christlike it's so good. One of the greatest games ever made, there is no reason to destroy it's legacy with a remake.

1. Controls are only poor in the driving parts of the game

2. The graphics aren't bad, they're last gen but they're done well

I agree with everone says that it does not look that bad and the combat controls are fine. My advice is to play on easy and do as much side stuff as possible. I ruished though the main story and wish I took it slow.

Hell NO. As some on here mentioned already, Deadly Premonition is one of the greatest ever games out there. Love it to pieces...

Destructoid calling it "a beautiful trainwreck" is extremely apt... because it is its low-budget elements, and over-the-top design that makes it unique. Why do games have to have large budgets and be made by gigantic teams who polish every last element to a mirror shine to be enjoyable? We need more games like DP because we already get so many of the same games every year as it is.foxhound_fox

Are you familiar with Obsidian? They don't know what 'polish' means.

Seriously, I can enjoy a bad movie, but not a bad game. I cut games which are blazing new trails or ever merely taking the path less followed some slack, but I don't think I'll ever use 'trainwreck' and 'enjoyable' in the same sentence.

I doubt that intentionally bad games will ever take off the way intentionally bad movies have, but time will tell.
