Glitches are you kidding me. Do I have to send you to youtube to look at the hundreds of videos posted about glitches alone. Glitches have always been part of every game even H3 suffers from it. Bullet Lag... I rarely ever or at all get bullet lag, although I also play COD4 on my PS3 as well. Bullet lag is more apparent on that system than on Xbox. The only time there ever really is a problem with a safe spot as you say which I could give rats @55 is on Shipment because the map is so small. I have never had a problem getting my kill with somebody on LS and the 3 frag perk I don't care thats why I usually play hardcore matches as there is friendly kill and less frags flying around.I tend to like Halo 3's online more simply because it doesn't suffer from glitches and poor development like COD4. For example:
- In COD4 your avatar can get caught on small terrain features like small rocks, corners, bricks, etc. Gotta love how soldiers in COD4 lack the knowledge of how to step/crawl over a small bump in the ground.
- Bullet lag. COD4 didn't have this at first but these days it can be pretty bad. Nothing is more frustrating than knowing the guy who killed you should have been dead before he fired a shot since you poured a full clip of ammo into him at point blank only to have the server not notice what you were doing.
- Spawn points. The great thing about Halo 3 is the spawn system; it will spawn you in the safest part of the map possible along with several other variables taken into account. COD4 just chooses a spawn point at random which results in you getting spawned in the same place five times before the game finally realizes that it probably shouldn't be respawning you in a spot where you keep dying. And this is to say nothing of the times where the game will spawn you on top of grenades or in front of an enemy player.
- Some of the perks are broken. For example, Last Stand often results in other players unable to get their kills counted whenever they down a player with LS. 3x Frag turns every map into a demolition zone since most players just randomly lob grenades over buildings in the hope that one of them will nab another player.
