Sure, this topic has been used many times, but given the circumstances, I think it’s the perfect opportunity.
For me, I’ve been sinking time into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But, I’m really eager to also boot up Dragon Quest VIII on the 3DS at some stage soon.
On-topic, I finally bought a game carrying case for the 3DS & Switch. So it’ll make things easier instead of hauling around cases.
Already been vocal about mine. Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Monster Hunter: Iceborne are the major ones. Have plenty of pictures for both in the screenshot thread @davillain- created.
Outside of that have mentioned dipping into Red Faction: Guerrilla. Previously avoided being too detailed till I played more. Now have a good idea of what the game offers_
Doubt I'll continue much further. It starts amusing, smash buildings and all the good stuff. Until I realised it's generic in every sense of the word. The bare-bone mechanics are barely average. And every reaction has this floaty lifeless feel (think Skyrim combat without the cool magic and execution attacks)
The actual missions are very cliche sandbox routine, nothing really to praise. Yet even knowing that it's not why I came to give Red Faction a try.
Could forgive the monotony if the combat was at all good. Despite all the carnage the attacks are just not up to par. Its as though I'm slinging my hammer through thin-air, no visceral crunch what-so-ever. Lacks satisfaction in all its chaos. As such it's only selling point is underwhelming.
Perhaps my expectations was too high. Not sure, so far it feels like a 5/10. Not terrible, not bad, but flat average.
*Hopefully Resident Evil 3 next week can clean my palette of Red Faction.
Nintendo Switch: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
PC: Mortal Kombat 11, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Icey, Doom: Eternal, Control, Bright Memory, Alan Wake, Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition.
The main game I'm playing atm is Hollow Knight on Switch... so far enjoying it (don't like it quite as much as similar Metroidvania games like Ori, but still good).
Also playing a bit of Animal Crossing here and there.

Feel very similar. Been playing MetroidVania games since a school kid and Hollow Knight while having a nice artstyle doesn't exactly hit this pillar many seem to put it on.
I dunno, after beating it found the bosses and enemy type extremely underwhelming overall. The level design however is fairly good.
I’ve been playing this new game that’s just come out on the android store that’s so addictive called RUN. If you play the games you will understand, I left the link below
Been playing through the battlefield campaigns finished 4 and hardline which were surprisingly good. Not sure what to play next the backlog gets even bigger with the spring sales.
Trying to get platinum trophies on all the god of war games. So far I've beat and platinumed GoW (original), GoW2, Chains of Olympus, and GoW (2018). Working on Ghost of Sparta right now.
haven't been able to stick to just one title Switching between Donkey Kong Land 3 ,Super Mario Bros around FEBRURARY AND March ,as for this week I have started on Super Mario Bros 3 on my 3ds,i've been trying to come up with the means to make it more difficult early on
@speeny: Just finished Final Fantasy 7 Remake and am going through Assassins Creed Odyssey before Xenoblade Chronicles for the Switch comes out in a few weeks.
Picked up Knights of Pen and Paper from games with gold. I'm totally hooked on it right now. It's all I've been playing unless I get hit up by friends for some online play.
