It's in my sig, but Uncharted 3. Such a great campaign, and also liking the online a lot tbh, especially co-op adventure. Skyrim is also great- such a long game, and just goes to show that you don't need multiplayer to be a great game. Portal 2 was a game that I took a risk on- I'd never played Portal before but I am pleased that I took the risk- brilliant. And FIFA 12 was also pretty good- I don't go on it that much but still the best football sim IMO.

Best game: easily Rayman Origins being a pinnacle of my favourite genre. Honourable mentions go to Batman Arkham City and Skyward Sword

Biggest surprise: was actually Super Mario 3D Land. I thought it looked extremely dull and uninspired. Then after world 8, it became the best and most challenging 3D Mario ever made

Biggest dissapointment: I bought Uncharted 2 in anticipation of the third in 2011 and boy was it a complete let down. At its best it's OK and at it's worst it's abysmal.

Overall, I'd have to say that my Game of the Year was L.A. Noire. It was very original with its system of interrogation and investigation. The interrogation system needs work, the action sequences could have been better, and it would have been nice to see more of a detailed presentation of a 1940s LAPD officer (i.e. maybe more of Phelps' home life and family and more things to do in police stations), but overall, L.A. Noire is awesome.

Portal 2.

I'd say Skyrim, but with all it's problems there's no way it should be GOTY.
