Mods, move this to System Wars please
But here is a rational answer.
They both have great games!
PS4 has- Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne, and Makai Senki Disgaea 5.
Xbox has- Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo 5.
No wrong system, only wrong people_
In general I think the Xbox has better multiplayer exclusives (Gears, Halo, Forza, Titanfall 1) and the PS has better single player exclusives ( Bloodborne, God of War, TLOU).
You're comparing exclusives across gens? So why not bring up PS2 exclusives? It would destroy MS.
I think what you guys are trying to do (would be logical) is compare current exclusives so Titanfall 1 and TLOU shouldn't count.
Current gen exclusives, I guess they're tied. UC4 and Bloodborne are very well received, although neither is my type of game.
Halo 5 and Gears of War 3 have gotten good reviews...not great. The last proper Forza has come across as the best racing game this gen and having played it a bit, I agree.
Other than that, what else is there in the AAA environment?
It's simple, PS4 has lots of great exclusive games to offer that I find myself playing more then Xbox One but this is not to say Xbox One doesn't have any good exclusive games as well. Both have there pros/cons but if you want my opinion, PS4 has more exclusive games now due to PSVR so that's saying something.

Awww do we have to? Well then again, the TC username will give him away over there lol.

Sony.
99% of all "exclusives" for Xbox comes out for PC at some point and then removes the exclusiveness.
This gen I prefer the Xbox games. Halo 5, Forza Horizon 3. I have no interest in Gears of War or any of the PlayStation games mentioned in the OP. My tastes are odd though I guess, I'm glad I had a PlayStation as well to play No Man's Sky. But even given that, Xbox has Elite Dangerous.
Trick question, with a trick answer.
So I answer Microsoft, because they have essentially removed the exclusivity clause from their games, which is a benefit to gaming.
Exclusivity is a bane to gaming. Back in the day it was OK; Nintendo would have their games, Sega theirs, and so forth...but now its all about withholding games, not so much about independently developing.

Never understood the idea that exclusivity is bad? Games have always been a console mover, so why wouldn't there be exclusive titles, Nintendo has it, Sony has it, Microsoft is pretty much the odd one out, but that is because their main business is pc´s
Saying they should stop bringing out exclusive titles is pretty much the same as saying, why not just make one console or stop and just make pc games.
Wrong board
That aside, I go with Sony. Not because their exclusives are extremely good, but just because MSs are even worse (to me). I'ts interesting you put Nintendo and PC out of the discussion, they would have crushed both of them.
Nintendo.
This. But if I had to choose, I would go MS personally because I'm a huge Forza fan. Then again, PS has MLB The Show, LBP, among others I really like. Tough choice.
Bloodborne is arguably the best exclusive, so this gives Sony the edge. But MS with Sunset Overdrive, Ori and Forza Horizon 3 has an impressive line up. At this point it's a matter of taste. But from an online perspective, that I really don't care, MS leads by a large margin.

Not everyone has a PC and there are gamers who don't wanna deal with Windows 10 Store BS but for me, I never had a problem with Windows 10, I just buy MS games on PC and not try to use my Xbox One so it's all good for me.
Also Xbox One doesn't loss any exclusive games, there just being ported to MS windows 10 thus still gotta buy there exclusive games on there store but the only thing that's not exclusive is Quantum Break now that game is on Steam.
Other games like Rare Replay and Halo 5 still remains on Xbox One.

Exclusive means Exclusive as in not available on any other platform, not "i do not have the platform" therefore it´s a exclusive title.
So yes Xbox One does lose exclusive titles when you not only can get it on pc but also on a ps4 later.
Does that mean Xbox One does not have it´s real exclusive games, of course not but compared to Playstation/Sony It´s like comparing a eastern european supermarket to wal-mart.

Exclusives are good for the industry. It encourages competition and with that we, hopefully, get awesome games out of it. It sucks for those who want to play everything and can't afford or don't have the time to own all of the consoles. In that regard, consumers will have to make a choice and hopefully they don't regret making said choice. Luckily, there are a lot of decent multiplats out there as well.

That competition is good when it is genuine, i.e. each competitor is doing their own thing, Sega is doing Sonic, Nintendo is doing Mario, and so forth. In the end both products have advantages and its just a question of preference.
When the competition is artificial, though, like you have a new IP and there's no reason everyone can't enjoy it because it's a new developer with no ties to any platform, but suddenly Sony or Microsoft swoops in with a few hundred million, that's not cool. That's cheating, that's like thieving the dreams and hopes of gamers.
But yeah you're right overall, it's better when its seperate but equal. My personal opinion however is that future is in more cross-platform play, I'd love to play more games on PC with my friends on XBox and so forth. I think this is entirely possible, too, given Microsoft's recent attitude towards PC gaming but...we will see. Been burned by them before.

You should have made a separate thread if you wanted to whine about how exclusives are handled. Regardless I prefer this subject but your view is ignorant and petulant.
Developing for one system means that the team can put the entire staff on developing, learning, and using the funds for one development kit. Using it to greater potential.
Many projects have been released on everything and came out as mediocre experiences, or had various ports that're flat-out worse.
You may not like how exclusives work, but at its best a developer can focus on making a great game instead of juggling resources, to make a game not as good.
Look at Owlboy that finally released on P.C. How long do you think that would have taken if the development was focused on coming out for 3DS/ Vita/ Mobile/ PS4/X1/ and P.C? 15 years maybe_
Ports that come out at a later date is debatable, but I'm ok with it so long as it's handled with care. Also depends who owns the rights I guess, if Sony and Nintendo put the money behind a project, or had it made in-house? They have every right to keep it on the platforms they want.
For me personally, I prefer MS's games.
But there are definitely a few Sony games I wish I could play... might get a PS4 eventually for a decent price.
@RSM-HQ: yeah there's definitely no easy answer. Just my opinion, definitely not a fact; I would just like to see more games across more platforms is all, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I think we live in an era where that could be more possible than it is.
I suppose my original phrasing made me sound a little more militant than I actually feel lol, sorry 'bout that.
Definitely not the "bane" of gaming lol as I originally put it. I was probably coming off of an Off Topic argument prior to posting...you know how those go...
Neither are that hot with true exclusives honestly. Nintendo is on a whole different plain of existence in that department, but I'd have to give it to Sony. Ratchet & Clank and infamous are pretty great.
My PS4 is a Street Fighter V machine right now. Amazing game.
@mrbojangles25: Hey no hard feelings as I know that feeling.
As much as I enjoy Disgaea on PlayStation platforms I always felt that game was suited for either a touch screen (3DS) or Mouse/ Keyboard (P.C.) P.C. has two Disgaea games now but are pretty terrible ports and would not recommend them, and only supports gamepads. Then the DS game is pretty good but has some flaws of its own.
Inferior ports are never good, it makes a great game look average, or worse_
Would also like P.C. Indie hits on my PS4 or the upcoming Switch, even on 3DS. But not as poorly ported as BroForce was, how does that game crash so often on PS4 >_<
However I understand 'mostly' why it's not a thing. No harm in idle thinking but it's also wise to be rational as well.
