Question for you then, would Secret of Monkey Island just be the first chapter of the collection?Tales of Monkey Island - I'm all over it!

No, the main Monkey Island series is completely seperate. The Secret of Monkey Island and the upcoming Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge are remakes of games that were released in the early 90's. Tales of Monkey Island are brand new episodes by Telltale.
I picked up Puzzle Kingdoms. I know it's not as good as Puzzle Quest but it was only a $1, so why not?! Not bad for a $1. It was either Puzzle Kingdoms or a Double Cheeseburger! LOL!ASK_StoryI just bought this too.... and im nearly broke lol! Yay cheap games! God I cannot wait till I get paid on friday this has been a painfull freakin week watching these sales go by... at least I got one so far lol. Edit> I wish steam would get the old bioware/blackisle games and the might and magic series.

Sweet. Thanks! Must now add to cart...I picked up Puzzle Kingdoms. I know it's not as good as Puzzle Quest but it was only a $1, so why not?! Not bad for a $1. There are something I like better, and the recruits add a different level of strategy.
Too bad I don't have an international credit card...:(
Solid_Gabriel
You don't need a credit card, you could just get a debit card like the Mastercard Refresh or Visa Electron. You just pay a small fee for the manufacturing and that's it. No additional costs whatsoever, no strings attached. You put some money on the card and use it for Internet shopping.

Paypal works too.Paypal works too.GodModeEnabled
Yeah, but I personally wanted to avoid tying my regular bank account to any online purchases. This way I'm in complete control.

If you put money into your PayPal account using a normal bank transfer you should be just as safe, assuming you normally use internet bank services.[QUOTE="UpInFlames"][QUOTE="GodModeEnabled"]Paypal works too.inoperativeRS

Seriously, though, I don't mean just safety. It's very easy to lose track of how much you spend when you just use your account. With a seperate account designated solely for shopping, I'm much more aware of my spenditure.
Nothing for me either. I played the demo for Defense Grid last night and it's OMGAWESOME! The AI dialogue kicks major ass. Barring something completely out of left field in the upcoming days, I'll probably end up getting just King's Bounty and Defense Grid and call it a summer sale.If you still don't have Team Fortress 2, then seriously, what the hell?
Nothing for me today.

I spent over $1000 on Ebay upping my Xbox collection, and I used the bank withdrawal thing of PayPal. I didn't spend any more than I would have with a credit card. I recorded every deduction into the register, just as though I were writing a check or using a debit card. Honestly, it was easier on the wallet to pay as well, because the bills were spread out and didn't all come at one time during the month.
When is this sale over? And if you say friday im gonna mail a bear to your house.GodModeEnabled
July 4th.

Just bought Avencast, UFO: Afterlight and the X-COM pack (5 X-COM Games) all for under $10.
Still waiting for M&B Warband to go on sale and hopefully see Eschalon: Book I go on sale. I d/l'd the demo and i really like the old school RPG feel to it.
[QUOTE="ChiliDragon"]Torchlight just dropped to $5! :shock:rragnaarFor that price, I'm in. Now they need to do the same thing with the Titan Quest bundle... drop the price by 75% :D

I'm waiting for a bigger drop on Warband as well. You'll probably love Eschalon, it's one of my favorite indie games.Just bought Avencast, UFO: Afterlight and the X-COM pack (5 X-COM Games) all for under $10.

That's where I found Torchlight, and then later I saw it featured on the start page. No Steam, I will not be buying Titan Quest from you until you discount it heavily! :P
I'm interested in The Void, but since the developer opted not to offer the demo and since I heard it was frustratingly hard, I just can't commit to it despite its originality.
Also, I'm tempted to buy Flatout: Ultimate Carnage. There's no PC demo, but I believe there's a 360 demo so I might check that out today.
EDIT: Nope, no 360 demo either. However, there is a PC demo of Flatout 2 which is supposedly very similar.
Today's pending buys: Shatter ($2.50), FlatOut Carnage ($2), and The Void ($5). I say pending, because I'm still tossing around The Void.
And, I'm trying to think about the THQ pack. I was going to grab Red Faction: Guerrilla ($5), but I started looking at the pack, and there are a ton of games for $50.
I really need to make up my mind... That's a lot of games for $50...
I bought many of those at full price and did not regret a single one (I own every single DoW game, CoH+expansions, RF 1&2, Stalker, Metro 2033). If you're into strategy you'd get a year worth of games just from the DoWs and CoHs.Today's pending buys: Shatter ($2.50), FlatOut Carnage ($2), and The Void ($5). More importantly, most of them are great games. Anything by Relic (Company of Heroes, Dawn of War) is pure win. Metro 2033 was well recieved from what I can tell in the PC board and you could do a lot worse than Red Faction as far as FPSs go.
I would advise you to play a demo of one of the Dawn of War games. If you like it, this package will be worth it.

The bad thing is that I can't play the majority of those games on my current PC. I plan to build a new PC in the relative near future, but I don't know when that will happen.... I guess I might as well get them... Sigh.... My wallet is getting so skinny it makes Lindsay Lohan look like The Blob...
I got Shatter for PSN and I loved it. Certainly worth $2.50 I feel.argianasI was so looking forward to playing Shatter. I've wanted to play a Breakout style game. Unfortunately, when I installed it, my graphics card can't handle it....

I've played countless hours with just an Athlon XP 2000+ and Geforce MX440. Apparently that pack only includes Dark Crusade and Soulstorm though, a shame since they have the weakest single player campaigns in the series. But they should run on your computer and multiplayer is so much fun if you have someone to play with, even just 'coop' against CPU opponents.
