I guess DmC is as low as it'll get here? Also going to get System Shock 2 and Sleeping Dogs... and never make time to play any of them.

So many people who were never really into PC gaming have started to get into it. A lot of people who used to pirate games now buy games. It's all really just a testament to how great of a service Steam really is.

Mark of Ninja is fantastic. 2D stealth doesnt get any better than this. I tried replaying the first level to see if I could do a no kill run and nope, it's going to be challenging!
And the graphics are gorgeous to boot. Everyone should get it. only $3.49.

Haha Aliens: CM is still too expensive. SteelAttackJudging by the graphics, it should run fine on my ancient PC.
Some more big name games dropping to indie game prices with today's deals. Kinda funny that Deus Ex: HR is back up for sale again after being on a flash sale just a couple days ago. If I had me a decent gaming rig, I'd regret picking it up for $10 on PSN a few months back.
Also, I'm hoping Bastion makes the community's choice sale. I hear it's good and my laptop can run it. That's good enough for me. ;)
Well, I'm officially addicted to FTL. Steam says I played the game for 7 hours yesterday. I can't even remember the last time I played a game that much in one day.1PMrFister
FTL FTW!

You should buy it regardless. It's an incredible game.

I actually keep wanting to read and say "FTL" as "For the lose." I've been on the internet for too long. Also, Bastion is mine. Thank you, everyone who voted for it on the community's choice sale.New Community's Choice and Flash Sales:

Damn, Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves seems interesting. I'm not sure I would have bought it at regular price without a demo, but for $5 it seems like a no-brainer for such an ambitious-looking game. That narrated gameplay video on Steam sure is convincing (and the reviews are very positive!)

Yeah, that game seems interesting. Reminds me of Orcs Must Die! in a way. Post impressions.
Infestation: Survivor Stories on sale... is Valve yanking our chains? :?
Also, I just beat FTL for the first time. Heart was pounding through the entire flagship fight. Can't wait to try again with a different ship and strategy.

After going through the very well done and much-needed tutorial (fear system, skill tree, traps, noise-detection, etc., this game is pretty far from "press X to hide behind that wall, then press X again to jump over it"), I can already say that I'm very happy with my purchase. This is a strategy game first and foremost (and it's definitely not a tower defense game). The action is fluid enough but your character is not very strong compared to enemies, and so you really have to carefully plan out your defense during the day, and then execute your plan during the night. Not sticking to the plan (or having a bad plan) leads to a lot of dying, from what I understand.
I particularly like the game's French Canadian folklore theme, especially considering the developers' attention to detail. At $5 it's a super easy recommendation.

Sounds good. I'm not going to buy it now, but I'm adding it to my wishlist.

The sale is getting repetitive now. It sucks that Valve wont allow La Mulana to have a daily sale, the devs talked about it on gaf. Also where is that Rouge Legacy game?dvader654It is $12 right now, that is a 20% savings!!!!1,2,2l121ddfdaw2 Just buy it I bought that damn FTL :P (for 2.50....heehee)
I haven't really followed steam sales before. Is it literally just repeat sales for the last few days?
in the last two days I picked up:
Sonic Generations
Sonic 4 episode 1Â
Sonic 4 episode 2
Â
Transformers war for cybertron
Transformers fall of Cybertron
Supreme Commander
Final Fantasy 7
Â
Â
waiting to see if wargame : airland battle and anno 2070 go on further discount one more time. doubt it but yeah.
The sale is getting repetitive now. dvader654
It's always been like this. GMG and Amazon have better sales.
Well, it's the final day. Encore Day brings back the most popular deals. Added in first post. New Community's Choice and Flash Sales:
