Technically they're not even the original versions. They're graphically upscaled. I just hope they add more.

I'll pass. None available are even real favorites of the generation to me and I still own half that are available.

$15 isn't worth it to me but may be to those that no longer have their PS2.

The price seems fair for what they are but I thought that this was going to be some sort of backward compatibility thing that would allow you to play the games if you owned them without a fee so in that aspect I find this disappointing.

Don't really want to have to buy San Andreas again, so I'll be waiting for a sale before I grab it.

I'm not gonna support this just like PS now. Shady business practices that sticks it to gamers. If you support this kind of stuff they'll just do something even worse next time.

My thought are the same as in the GS article.

"Disappointed."

The emulator for PS3 had the option to insert discs to play without charging us a store fee. The PSN classics was a good option, that was optional!

But if we had the physical games now it's meaningless, even with a 'emulator' in place.

I dunno, seems like a low move in my view and I don't intend to support it.

The original(60/20gb) ps3's didn't really emulate a ps2 that much. For the gamers, As long as it makes us money.. I guess is Sony's new slogan .

and OP, Periods! please?

@dotWithShoes: I don't mind many other things Sony has done, but I simply can't support this when I was looking forward to playing my collection of PS2 games that 'all' worked on PS3. Though if I recall required a years worth of patches.

Either case if they do this for PS1 titles that would be even worse.

Wait so the emulator won't let you play ps1 or ps2 disks? What the **** is the point of the emulator then? Oh ya gauge more money from those who all ready purchased your products. $15 also seems a bit high considering these aren't physical copies. OH and don't come at me with these are improved! If final fantasy 7 for pc is considered improved then agree to disagree because that thing was an abomination at launch. Maybe it's better on ps4? But I don't know if more final fantasy with midi music is what to expect then **** that shit.
