I got Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles for $14.99 and Syphon Filter Logans Shadow for $14.99. I'm hoping to track down a cheap copy of God of War 2 next. Target has some great deals, sometimes.ChiefFreemanGod of War II is $9.99 at Circuit City this week. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/God-of-War-II-PlayStation-2-711719748120/sem/rpsm/oid/157547/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

yeah I heard about it on Screwattack's Hard News....:D
A lot of great prices!
yea it is, I got lego star wars II for the 360 for only 5 bucks (best 5 bucks i ever spent) and a pink rechargeable battery for my pink controller for 5 bucks as well.
I like to check every week or so, the employees at my target must think i am strange
I was able to nab a copy of Star Wars: Empire At War for only $6. I also got FF V and FF VI (both GBA) for a total of $20.
I love bargain hunting.

Thats pretty much the best deal I've ever heard of, I want that game really bad, as I finally I have an okay gaming PC.

I know, right? It was brand new too. Now if only I can find the expansion set for around the same price....
I keep hearing about these clearance racks. I'm going to have to go their soon and get me some games damnit. :lol:Uma-Chan
It can be tricky. I know the Target near me makes it tough to even find the discount rack. I swear they know I'm coming and they deliberately move it around and try to hide it! However my cheapness over-powers my laziness, so I've never failed to track it down! :D
I bought Assassins Creed (360) for 18.99 from Gamefly. It's used, but GF games are usually in good shape. They have Mass Effect (26.99), Bioshock (24.99), Uncharted (29.99), and alot others at a decent price.
Free shipping too, btw.

i saw the Star Wars deal also. If my Pc could run it, I would've bought it, but my computer is a dinosaur.I think I am inspired to check it out after work today. I will (happily) report back if I pick up anything.
I still hate walking in through the garden center (the clearance rack is closer through that entrance), saying "hi" to the employees who greet me, then walking back through the garden center empty handed only 5 minutes later. I wonder if they think I am stealing things lol.

Ok, just got back from Target
Just to clarify...
My target usually has an aisle length display that they put video games on that are selling from $10 to $30 bucks, for all consoles. Usually these deals aren't anything special. Today though, the shelfs in the $30 section (where they stock most of the 360 titles) were empty. It was weird, but I moved on to the actual clearance section, which is a little display located behind an aisle in the electronic section. When I got there, an employee was standing in front of it with a huge cart (I swear, this guy is always there when I come, which is really annoying). Usually I wander until he is done before I look, but I noticed he wasn't stocking today, he was pulling things and throwing them in the cart. I rushed over to see what he was getting rid of. He wasn't too pleased based on his irritated "can I help you?". Luckily some guy needed him to ring up something so he left.
There wasn't much in selection, but I got Viva Pinata for ten bucks, which is awesome, I have been wanting it for a while, but I didn't want to pay $20. I also found a CD for two bucks (a band that I like a few songs from, but you can't beat a $2 cd). I noticed he was throwing away guides, so I grabbed a few to scan, but they were both still more than $10 so I put them back.
Whew, sorry for the long story.
I prefer K-Mart over Target for clearance games becase they dont mark them with special tags rightaway, I just got some DS and X360 games for $5 yesterday that were marked $20.
Plus my target sells out of the good clearance games within 24 hours of hitting the shelves!!

Come to think of it, Circuit City has some pretty sweet deals as well. I remember about a year ago, I was able to acquire a copy of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for only $9 BRAND NEW. Bear in mind that around the time, the retail price was still fixed at $30. Talk about a killer deal.
I know what you mean. I go to Target on my lunch breaks a lot. Even though I'm a regular customer at my local Target, I go in and out empty handed when I don't find the bargain I'm looking for. I sometimes wonder if they think I'm stealing too. They know who I am though, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.I think I am inspired to check it out after work today.
