it needs a new engine and for crying out loud it feels like it plays on turbo speed they need to slow it down some also, I'm sick of ducking behind cover, and everybody with a gun takes a shot at me the moment my toe peeks out behind cover, yet my friendly AI is standing out in the open and nobody shoots at them, and they're crap at shooting anything either, that annoys me instead of having a two studio leapfrog cycle, do it with three studios, giving each development cycle 3 years so to polish each game and not rush them out with crappy SP campaigns this last year was the first year I skipped on a COD game since the first, it was an easy choice after how bad Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 were

I think that CoD needs a new graphics engine. Either that or go back to WW2. Cause i'm not gonna pay $60 bucks for a game that is the same and they put no work or effort into changing it. Plus, they need to make a game that can match CoD2. That game was balanced. No weapon add ons, 1 running speed, weapons were balanced. If all the modern warfare games and bop games were like that, I think those games could've been great. Does anyone else agree?

lol the irony. you complain about changing cod and overhauling it, yet you want it to play like an older version of the game which was a played out setting last gen.

Man, I've said the things you said about more times I can count! Most of all, the series needs dedicated servers & get rid of P2P servers. I'll always say that Call Of Duty 2 is the best game in the series, period (NOT Call Of Duty 4). Killstreaks & Perks are killing FPS video games with COD formula in gaming series (Crysis, Medal Of Honor, Homefront & etc). The only thing I respectfully disagree with you on is going back to World War II. Do I love learning about World War II? Yep! But, I just can't deal with video games in World War II settings (last generation of video games, there were far too many WWII games during that time) anymore. Instead of flooding the gaming market with WWII settings, how about balancing them out with covering certain era/times?

@bigcatk20 Why not? Would it be so bad to change things up alittle bit and go back to ww2 for alittle bit? it's not like they can't go back and forth if they chose

Like I said, I don't mind mixing things up abit. But, I do have an problem going back to World War II setting & staying there. All I hear from majority of FPS gaming community these days are innovation, creativity & different. But, it's exact opposite & going back to World War II just for the sake of it will be an big mistake.

Yeah, I agree.

It's disgusting to see the amount of casuals flocking to COD, and Activision saw a huge opportunity to make billions of dollars and decided to CTRL C + CTRL V the game every time.

This is why I cringe every time I see casual gamers.

I only played 2 COD games so far (Blacks Ops and Modern Wafare 3) and I just don't see anything Casual about it. More importantly, isn't Casualising a good thing ? (assuming we're talking about the same thing).

Call of duty is mediocre, but I feel as if it gets unfairly panned by the gaming community at large. It does what it does. It's the formula that works for that particular series. Call of duty is essentially a yearly sports game these days, take it as such.
