The hardest boss you never beat

Just have to say what is the boss you're never beat (or beat with cheats or solutions) and in what game is it.

Me is In Lost planet the "VS" looking like a spider,I never beat it --.

but I had never clear the Dark Realm area in Onimusha 4 :-)sephiroth_y

I never finished Metroid Prime because of the onerous jumping sequence when the dozens of metroids come at you, then you have to fight the crab version of Metroid Prime and then fight the last version of it... that was annoying having to stand in the puddle of goo and ... you know what I mean.

Not worth it.

The first phazon seed boss in Prime 3 on Hyper mode... I just gave up and stopped playing after that 50 minute trek through hell.foxhound_fox

Yeah, that guy was ANNOYING on Hyper Mode. The blue shield on its back is the worst. Whenever you destroy the shield and get a chance to deal damage, the shield comes back before you even get a chance to shoot at it. Took me like half an hour to kill him.

Uh, on FFX, I never could beat that flying Dragon Thing on the airship...

But I haven't played in 4 years...I've gotten a loooot better at RPG games since then. I could easily do it I bet ifI tried now.

Two come to mind: Fire Leo (final boss) from Viewtiful Joe and the final boss(es) of Super Ghouls N' Ghosts.

SGN'G of course makes you play through the game two times to beat it, then to add insult to injury, it forces you to use a crappy weapon to beat the game. Since I used one particular weapon to get through the entire game, forcing me to get rid of it made it real hard :D Not to mention there's a time limit to beat it.

I never could even figure out how to damage Fire Leo, much less kill him. That fight makes me feel dumb. Not giving up on either though, I'll be back after them some day.

There's also the optional bosses in the FF games and Kingdom Hearts, but I never really was serious about trying to beat them.

The underground area at the end of Valkyrie Profile 2 .

I stopped those fights and quit playing that game. Hope that counts as a boss tho b/c its like full of bosses and the endgame extra like DQVIII, Onimusha, Warriors

The final boss in NES Ninja Gaiden. It doesn't help that the last level is so unforgiving, but then you have to defeat the final boss two or three times. I had no trouble beating Ninja Gaiden 2 & 3 though.

I can't really say the final boss on Viewtiful Joe, but the string of bosses to get to the final boss is definately a problem for me.

After the 3 forms THEN running through the ship with the pissed off dophin ghost thingy after you, yea, that sucked. I died a bit myself, eventually I figured out the pathway though and it was easier.

Leave it to Square to have some super incredibly hard 4 stage boss battle then some escape before the building explodes ending.

Probably the Ultima Weapon in FFVII (without cheating) I couldn't manage it evn with my party at ridiculously high levels :P

Ah, yes. Fire Leo. How I hated that guy. Never ended up beating him.

Just when I thought that game couldn't make me feel any dumber :D Joe calls it "the final battle" in the game,so I always assumed it was. Hopefully I'm able to see the real final battle someday but I've had the game since release and still haven't figured it out, so I'm not holding my breath :)
