Now ive recently bought myself a xbox 360 and im finding all the games to be good.

But what has come to my attention is that some games such as farcry that has been brought onto the xbox have lacked in performance and quality.

Now im a pc fan, I havent played my 360 in a few weeks, but ive had my eye on next gen consoles and their new games coming out and to be honest, most of the games look the same.

Now this isnt a bad thing, they are all unique in their own little way.

But the question is, what will be the next console to hit shelves in the next few years before the PS3 and 360 capabilities run out and has anyone else noticed the familiarities (especcialy in graphics) in recent games?

This doesnt include computers as computers are upgradable and is always expanding.

Haha, christ I looked at the "2011" and thought "the future" but its really not that far away and considering its every 4 years they bring out anew console, that sounds about right lol.

Although i'll have to agree with you their, microsoft will most likely be the next to bring out a new console, that and nintendo.

5-6 years is the typical gap between console generations. So around 2011. In terms of graphics, the PS3 and 360 do seem similar. I think there will only be subtle differences in games as the developers squeeze more power out of them.
