I wasnt planning on getting this but I checked EBgames site and they have a promotion if you buy ascension you get the gow saga free. I couldnt pass this up, its online only

Yes I have the GoW collection but haven't had the chance to play the PSP ports yet. I'll keep the GoW Saga ( 5 games in one disk :P ) I'll play it after Bioshock for sure, oh well.

The PSP games are downloadable only. They arent on the disk.

The pandora place in GoW3 was a much harder challenge but you had the tools to get through it.dvader654

Yup. I beat that fight on the first try on Hard because the entire game had prepared me for it. It was brilliant.

Good post Dvader.  I have Metal Gear on the shelf, waiting to be played, and I need DMC to go down in price before I check it out.  

Ascension is still a really good game, but they need to ditch multiplayer forever.   I would've much rather had better and more balanced combat, a functional New Game +, and an Arena mode for replay value.   People who say that multiplayer didn't affect the single-player are just ignorant of the way the videogame industry works.   Hopefully that experiment is just that, god forbid the next God Of War have co-op or some other trash.  Keep it single-player, brutal, balanced and lengthly.

I've noticed that Ascension has one or two bits where we can clearly see Kratos's underpants, something that I don't think any previous games have shown us. I'm relieved to know that even as he busies himself carving up hulking monstrosities the size of a town house, Kratos has given due thought for his comfort (those mountains did look very cold).

The pants do seem like rather a snug fit, though. Perhaps this explains why there is no sex minigame in Ascension. I mean he'd have to unwrap and rewrap and all the time the girsl would be pointing and laughing and it would just be so awkward.
