One of the biggest problems i find with the gaming community is this...

they never enjoy what they have!

They hype a game for 3-4 years and swear by it, and when it comes out, the first thing you hear is "whats next?"

it is as if the community is living just to hype things never to enjoy them. I mean how many people were waiting for halo 3, metal gear, I recall one gaming website would report a letter if it was printed by mistake on super smash website...now its same thing with GTA4 and MGS, and it is going to be the same for Home, little big planet, and everything else.

I recall big fuss about ps3, a whole year and half later nothing about even comparable to the big fuss made for it.

One thing that got on my nerves, is Halo 3....This game was hyped so much, now 6 months later...people are ready to jump to any other good shooter, as a matter of fact I believe COD4 beat it online yes? How can you hype a game for 3 years and play it less than you talked about it, it just doesnt make any sense. I got along with the hype and bought it when it first came out.

The game is good, dont take me wrong, but the community ruins it because once anything is out they are jumping ship. The thing that I saw last a good time is Gears of War I believe they at least kept playing that game for a year.

we all know games like halo, cod4, and similar games are made to be played multiplayer hence the short campaign mode.

I believe it's a problem as well, but it's kind of hard not to get excited about new things. Besides, if we didn't get excited about new things and buy them, then the gaming industry would have flopped, so it's a double-edged sword in a way :/
