@GameboyTroy: While I appreciate your contribution, the thread is for downloadable freeware games and not flash games.

@Black_Knight_00 Dont know why, but powerlave's website has removed downloads.

Yeah he was hit with a C&D, just like AM2R, but just like AM2R you can easily find the game through other channels.

@PETERAKO: I did my best to help. At least some of them are downloadable.

these games were published by EA at the time that they had the LOTR License, but now due to the expiration of the license they won't sell those anymore. but you can download the Images of those games, apply some unofficial patches and play them for free.(even playing them online) I don't think there will be any problem playing a pirated version of a game which isn't in stores anymore.(and the creators don't get another penny for their work)

I come bearing dismal news. The recently discharged metroid 2 fan change "another metroid 2 redo" got hit by a DMCA assert from nintendo. Its future is at present indistinct. The amusement's blogspot and discussions are still up, yet downloads are as of now inaccessible https://plus.google.com/106957513812184159627

I can't express how furious I am over this unreasonable takedown despite the fact that I figured out how to download the amusement.

@dorog1995: Thats true, but they are not officially released as freeware. Some time ago I asked one of the heads at esim if it was ok to download an image file of steal beasts gold since they dont sell or support it. I was told that, no, it was not ok(and thats an understatement). Besides battle for middle earth is not all that obscure and you CAN find an iso without any help.

If he does a Top 10, it's an IMHO list. And then you come back at him yelling "But 6 should really be 4!". This man put a lot of effort into compiling this list and should put it on his own web page to get some wider audience and get some feedback based on which he could build a true Top 10 list.

@PETERAKO add some Mdickie games from his website, he has mobile games and 2 on steam but they mostly have to pay for certain parts, his website however has freeware I believe.
